Even though it leaves her prone to being caught off-guard, I envy her for being the kind of fox who enjoys things at the time, rather than having to go back and enjoy them in her head.

The very first sketch for this was spontaneous enough -- just Juno with a hotdog in one hand and a beer in the other. Playing around with some color thumbnails, feeling around for the mood, and soon enough I had a full piece planned out. I'm no purist when it comes to hotdog toppings, so I just slapped together something I remember enjoying. The beer however is a local brew I have a bit of a fondness for ^^ If either of these look too big in her hands... just remember she's a little fox. Toeless shoes have become a big trend in "furgonomics" so Juno's sporting a pair of her own hi-tops this time. The scenery is just my memory of various summertime carnivals and festivals, which I've regrettably not been to in a couple of years for the typical reasons. Time goes on and friends move away, and I just hope there will be more.

I love your tone and shading on art like this. Gives it a grounded and "solid" feel to me. It's very cool and I'm sure not easy to do. Lol. That sunset and those clouds too. Just so much going on in this. From the shops/stands to the grass. That puddle. What a cool choice and very appropriate for the setting. Love the toeless shoes. Always a good choice.
