I am not happy seeing Trubel so badly injured. She had better be OK. Wow, that passport has stamps from all over the World. What the heck has Trubel been doing. Foreign currency too. Yeah, I like that Adalind right away told Nick everything about phone call. Even the stuff about Misner, someone that had saved Adalind in the past. That’s kind of big. LOL, I saw you grin when they said the address on Trubel fake ID, apartment 505. As in season 5 episode 5. That’s the first time we’ve seen what a Grimm’s eyes look like when a Vesen vogues. More of Renard working with the mayor, wonder where this is going. OK, the Rat King is probably (IMO) the weirdest thing we’ve seen on this show. I’m divided on this. On one hand I’m glad they kept the Monster of Week short but on other hand. They took that big rat out too quickly considering how tough its supposed to be. Since there was no family present (Nick never said he was family, just a fellow police officer), if a person is unconscious (and the were pretending she never woke up) a doctor can perform emergency surgery to save a persons life without consent. The rat prince that was killed in the start of the show was named Rizzo as in Rizzo the Rat from the Muppet Show. I agree, the non-rat portion of this episode was great. Lots of people we’ve seen separately now seen together. ie Trubel and Misner.

Keep in mind that each season of the show has 22 episodes, which means roughly 1 episode for 2 1/2 weeks of time, assuming 1 year per season. Each case seems to take between 1-2 days, with some a bit longer. Given the way Diana is growing, it might actually be longer than one year persons, but even if it is only one year, this means the vast majority of time is never shown on screen. This also means that most of the cases Nick is involved in are also not shown on screen. For all we know, the ones we see are the only ones he investigates that Wesen are involved in, which would mean most of them are just regular human things. But of course those aren't of interest to those of us watching, so we never seen them. In addition Renard would be one of the people assigning cases, so he's likely purposely giving them the cases he thinks or knows are Wesen involved.
