This is an episode that just tore the fandom apart. Many felt just like you. But others didn't. Yes, they were all worried about Jack. But he had been acting okay and things seemed fine. They were taking it slow. Cas, though, had seen Jack do something that was actual proof. And if everyone had that information then things would have been done differently. Mary would have likely not been alone with Jack. We don't know. but we do know that they all wouild have been very careful with Jack. But Cas just didn't say anything. gave no clue that they needed to worry. He wasn't there. He at least should have been around Jack. But he just ignored it. It's understandable to run to Cas's defense, but if it were someone else who hid information from the others? Information that may have saved Mary? I did wonder why they would want to bring Mary back if she were in Heaven? That made no sense to me, because they knew how hard it had been for her to be there. Letting her stay in Heaven made more sense, and I am sure that sam and dean would know that. That seemed odd to me. Jack does seem to be feeling things. But he doesn't seem to have control over his powers. I do think maybe empathy is lacking? He's worried, but maybe more for himself. They had been worried about him not having control of his powers. So Mary's death is going to be used like Charlie's. To get a rift between Cas and Dean. Maybe part of it is because Dean feels like he never should have listened to Cas about Jack. From the start. When he listened to Cas and gave Jack a chance. That's the sort of mind set Dean would have. That makes sense to me. He's mad at Cas for wanting to save Jack. To give Jack a chance. Yes, Sam and Dean were worried. They were all worried. But Cas did keep a secret. He chose to not tell them about what Jack did with the snake. He was likely worried about what they'd do with that info. So that is on Cas. It is. But we do know that Dean has a process. He needs to work through it. And even after both Lucifer and Nick are dead, they still find a way to use the actor. Argh!!! The angels brought adam back, even without a body. Mary and John should be together in Heaven. I didn't cry over Mary's death either. I hadn't ever come to feel much towards her. Which is a shame. I wanted to. She's Mary!
