She didn't notice Red Hood

Michele

There are a few easter eggs scattered through this episode. Mostly in the comic book store. Red Hood for one, but maybe you don't know about that. Jensen did the voice for Red Hood in an animated thingy. I don't know much about that stuff, other than he did the voice for Red Hood. And during this episode the costume designer noticed Jensen admiring the Red Hood outfit in the store and offered to let him wear it. She modified it a bit for Jensen and they did a photo shoot with it. It's quite awesome! I'll post some of the photos on discord. Seems like you liked this episode a bit. It was just fine for me. These kooky episodes don't always work for me. But I get the purpose. Kind of formulaic for SPN. Typical to do an episode like to get one of the brothers out of their funk. Which is what this was all about. Just a fun episode. The boys loved doing it, so that's enough for me. It was okay.

This episode was boring. The villain didn't remind me much of Michael and Jason because neither one of them ever talk, whereas Hatchetman wouldn't shut up, lol. And his costume was about as scary as Floppy Disk Dude from Buffy. Incidentally, there was a horror film called Hatchet that came out in 2006 which had Mercedes McNab (Harmony) in it.

I agree, it wasn't my favorite. I don't like it when characters suddenly aren't acting like themselves purely for the purpose of driving comedy in the plot. Since when is Sam not able to pick locks and afraid of saying the word 'bitch' and Dean is almost getting killed by the ghost of an simi-elderly comic-book store owner?

I actually love this episode but to me it was like a love letter to B horror movie more then it was to The slasher genre I love when they do that like when they did in Monster Movie way back but that me

Freddy, Chucky and Ghostface talk a lot so it could taking the look from Jason and Micheal and maybe other b movie slashers and talking from the ones I mentioned and maybe others and be a combo.

This is from google..... MIRL means "Meet In Real Life". The abbreviation MIRL is used with the meaning "Meet In Real Life" to refer to an actual face-to-face meeting, rather than a connection online (such as through social media, a dating app or in a forum). MIRL is typically used to refer to a first meeting in person........ People do say Meet IRL but they also say MIRL to just shorten it just like IRL's purpose is to shorten In Real Life. or LMAO is laughing my ass off or LOL is laugh out loud etc. I just think when speaking out loud some people might say Meet to give context where if you are talking online on FB or texting or something if you put MIRL I think most people would understand what you are saying but both are a thing.

I liked this one but I'm a big horror fan and Slashers in particular. I get what you are saying about them just mentioning that Dean likes the All Saint's Day films in this one and yeah it's made up or mentioned for the first time here but I just took it like Dean has liked it all along just hasn't brought it up and then since they were doing the Marathon it comes up. Also it's not totally out of nowhere Dean mentions liking lots of films and references or quotes lots of stuff especially Horror. Look back at Hollywood Babylon where he talked about all the made up Horror films he liked and was a big fan of the actress of which the Hell Hazers series from that ep was mentioned a couple times in this one. So this one was made up and only brought up now but the idea of Dean being a big horror fan since he was a kid has been there all along.
