I think the reason this show didn't last is because ABC kind of messed up with the scheduling. I think writing wise for this and S3, it was intended to be viewed in the order you're watching it because there was a big 3 month hiatus after 3x11 that this could have filled the OUAT gap for. But for whatever reason, ABC decided to air it concurrently with the first half of S3 in a completely random time slot on Thursdays (when the main show aired on Sundays).

Glad you figured out it was John Lithgow from 3rd rock of the sun :) and other shows (I didn't know he was going to be the rabbit in this). Well so far I am at least intrigued by the series

I just realized watching the first scene that the girl playing the young Alice is a young Millie Bobby Brown who plays Eleven on Stranger Things. I haven't seen this since it aired and when I saw it now I was like hey that's EL.

I think now I cant be positive but I think this originally aired along side season 5 of the original. So of your watching it early there might be spoilers for episodes of the original that you haven't come to yet. I really don't know because I never watched the spinoff.

Hey Joe just because things like this would drive me up the wall I double checked air dates and this seemed to run concurrently with once upon a times third season. Just wanted to rest any concerns you had.

Hey Jake thanks I just didn't want Shan to spoil her own viewing of any future episodes of the original by accident. I know she doesn't like things getting spoiled. I recognized a few characters in some of the screen shots. That's why I was worried about it.

Ok... A. Keith David as the Cheshire Cat, my favorite character from Wonderland. B. This is my first time watching this show... didn't even know it existed until you started posting it. If it didn't pick up I can understand why just from the start with the pilot. Not exactly a worthy invitation in my mind. C. I'm going to make a prediction, probably dumb and completely incorrect, that the necklace IS the power that Jafar is hoping to find. They're making up think he wants the wishes, but I think the necklace holds the power of the lamp. D. The red queen and The queen of hearts thing... isn't that supposed to me the same person? It's been forever since reading or seeing the story. The looking glass was a great show when I was younger, but I have almost forgot everything about that too. I'm thinking either this red queen with big lips came before or after Cora. So, if before, maybe Cora killed her to be the queen. If after, than maybe she took over once Cora left Wonderland and that's possibly when THIS stoy started. IRDK, just drawing straws and hoping to find the best answer here😁 AND E... yes, E. The red queen had the White Rabbit bring Alice back... assuming for the POWER Jafar is after and they figured she could take them to it. I'm wondering why the White Rabbit would have done it... yes the red queen told the rabbit about the genie being alive, but I feel like there is more to it than just that. He's terrified of her as if she's threatening him with something. It's OUAT for petes sake, I may be looking too far into it but there is always a catch/spin in OUAT so why not in Wonderland? BTW... why is your hair only dyed in this series...? It's been freaking me out a little🤣 Ok... on to the next episode.
