It's been a long month, and just like requested, I've focused (mostly) on the on-going Android 9.0 port for our XD+.
At this point this means mostly porting a(nother) bunch of kernel drivers from the Alldocube X tablet into the XD+ one, which (as you can tell from the attached screenshot) isn't always straight-forward.
Luckily enough, despite all of this being somewhat of a slow and tedious process, it is rewarding in its own right whenever my XD+ manages to jump past another (now resolved) error in the code.
In other news: I've managed to pilfer a build-server from a co-worker at my dayjob, which I've set up to provide weekly OTA updates for my Xiaomi Mi Max 3 ROMs.
Given they've proven to be rock-stable by now I've decided to automate the OTA update building for them so that I don't have to constantly remind myself to manually build and upload them.
Not the biggest time-saver, but its another 30 minutes a week I can then pump into other (more important) work.
All summed up: Things are going at the pace I expected them to.
For those that are curious (or code-affine), feel free to check out my GitHub MT8173 kernel repository for all the progress made as I tend to push code changes to that one regularly.
And as always... I will keep you all posted!
