Here is a shot showing some of the dishes I mentioned in my last post and below is an explanation of some of these :-))

Fideuà

It is similar to a seafood paella but it's made with noodles instead of rice and typically has Monkfish, squid and prawns. 

Arròs negre

This is made in a paella dish and it's main ingredient other than rice if squid! The ink of the squid is what gives it this distinctive flavour and colour and it's very common on the coast of Spain. 

Berenjenas Rellenas

Stuffed aubergine / eggplant, it is made with minced meat, peppers, onion garlic and tomato and topped with cheese. - It was Ollie's favourite!


And I confess we didn't buy the snails :-).
