Not all modernisme houses are the same. And while this seems obvious, I was reminded by how much this is true when I took a rare glimpse inside this very beautiful building which overlooks the sea in Sitges. So often I’d wondered what adorned the walls inside and today I was saddened to see that in the room I could glimpse inside, the walls were bare and all had been taken away. It’s a reminder why these days the councils are so strict about documenting all that’s special about these houses before we can touch anything. Still, it is a stunning building and I’ve only seen this one room! 🥰
