This is a modernist house in Sitges overlooking the sea that I’ve often walked by and wondered what is inside. Today I noticed building works were happening and the windows were cast open, allowing passers by to catch a rare glimpse inside. It was only then that I realised, there is no artwork, at least not in this room, nothing unusual to see, like so many buildings of this type. I felt very grateful that our house still has so much of the original work left and was reminded that this is why the rules are so strict here, on cataloguing what’s special in these houses before we’re able to work on them. 🥰
