Hey everyone! Hope you are all doing well. So, my last post said I wanted to try to have Cave Game out by the end of September, well, that was probably a little ambitious of me! I'm still working on Cave Game, obviously, and my new target is to have it finished in a week's time. Developing all parts of a game is fun, but it also means I often time misjudge what will take me a long time and what won't, especially if, like me, one has a tendency to iterate and iterate and iterate until I like what I have. The above animation (from Cave Game) is an example of this, as I tried about a bajillion color palettes before I felt like I had the right one.  That's solo game dev for ya! Anyway, despite my misjudgment, I still plan to try to also have the Discover Our Bodies demo by Halloween, or sometime thereabouts, I just will have to put in the extra hours to make it possible, so look forward to that! As a consolation prize for not having cave game done by the end of September, I am going to try and upload its opening cinematic which will give you some hints as to the plot and tone of the game. I'm so excited for you all to play it!

How perfectly unsettling!!! Every new thing is a real treat for the eyes! I guess this month would be the perfect time to release some stuff and get them on the radar, huh? Don't overwork yourself too much! I personally dont mind waiting longer for everything, these updates are giving me enough to subsist on, like an aesthetic moodboard ..
