This development preview will give you a look into new features coming to Oh So Hero!

The game's two developers, Ket & Red, comprise the programming and art/animation sides, respectively.

Here are their updates!

Ket's Update:

Hi everyone! Thanks for your patience. First, I want to announce our next build is planned for December! We've been hard at work this month, but it has mostly been in areas behind the scenes. We've been "heads down" on this stuff, so we've been quiet as a result. Now it's time for us to give you a preview of what's next.

Most of what I've been up to is tackling tech debt and upgrading tools, which should improve performance and fix some of our current issues. These are time-consuming tasks that involve a lot of re-engineering and problem solving. Here's an abridged list of things I've completed so far, as well as others in progress:

  • DONE: Upgrade from Unity 2019 to Unity 2021 LTS
  • DONE: Asynchronous asset loading for Android build
  • 90% DONE: Upgrade FMOD (audio middleware) from 2.01 to 2.02
  • IN PROGRESS: Fix Win32 & Linux builds
  • IN PROGRESS: Fix Gradle for Android build

I've also been adding new music from Cilantro and new character portraits from Red. I'll go into full detail about everything when we have our next build in December, which should include much more. For now, keep reading for Red's art update, followed by page 3 of ThatPuggy's Oh So Soaked!

Red's Update:

Hey guys. We've been rather busy fixing issues that have been cropping up with the recent builds. We have a gameplan for the next couple of months and it is this: We plan on releasing the threesome animations for a few more characters including O'Deere, Bax, and Puca amongst other addons.

Once those are out, we won't be releasing any animations until the boss Bates is completed and released. I'm still working on a lot of his assets and cutscene elements. The encounter will require (almost) fully animated cutscenes, and progress on those are going well. January will most likely be entirely about Bates progress. I know I've made you all wait so long for him and I apologize but I think he's shaping up quite nicely.

Another thing to mention is that we're also working on reworking some of the fighting mechanics to make the game more fun to play overall. After Bates we will be looking into implementing a more robust combo system to allow Joe to have more interesting combat interactions amongst other things.

We're also working on a quest system; more info on that later.

Absolutely amazing work guys, to think this amazing gane can be also in android... a game with this level of detail and love. Man brings tears to me eyes

Can i say, for the throw animation towards the screen, i think it be neat if the enemy thrown, when at low health, would literally cock-block the screen, or for some ass block the screen, if at high lust cum on impact.

I love what you're doing with the cutscenes for Bates. Also those combat throws look cool, they remind me of turtles in time.

Ohh, hecc, always love to see more of the threesome/group scenes, but those new combos look rly fun O3O excited about those too!

Just wanted to pop in and say that we have Win32 and Linux working again. We will be releasing new builds for Windows (64/32), Mac, and Linux at the end of December.
