Good afternoon y'all

After last's week routine shake-up, it was good to go back to something more chill. Drawing. Coding and the classical Bug Squashing. Oh yeah, this week had a bit of everything, but well! I have some amazing news so let's get into it shall we?

The Routine

Started once again to take a couple of walks, no Pokemon GO at the time because my mind was in another place. Some of my family members stayed a couple of days on this city before traveling back to their origin. There are still a couple of unresolved stuff but now less than before, I was originally asked to travel to the origin city so I could deal with more paperwork but I declined as I had to do stuff here and get back into work. Perhaps another time.

I drove them to the airport and a chapter got closed.

So, I hope y'all have seen the TMNT loop, it was a fun one to work on and shake a bit of rust. After I was done with that one I got back ASAP on the project!

The Project

Current Engine Iteration: 99.99999% (Chances of bug very low)
Initializing quest: 95%
Noelle Route: 95%
Animation: COMPLETED

   Code: 80%
  Polish: 90%

Toriel Route: 60%
Undyne Route: 30%

AS YOU CAN SEE. NOELLE'S ANIMATION HAS BEEN COMPLETED! THATS RIGHT!
All her animations are done, there is no more stuff to do with her for the time being! All that's left for her route to be finished is to implement the animations into the code and polish this implementation so everything makes sense!

I had to deal with some nasty bugs that appeared on the final implementation of the cutscenes, I wanted to update the method in which the cutscenes play, so this new code was a bit unrefined, but I got help and we managed to fix the final problem.

From this point there should be smooth sailing, there shouldn't be any more problems! But you already know how with code-related stuff, things get messy. So. The plan right now is to make the Noelle route fully playable and then I will decide If I make a beta release or not, like I said last week. I appreciate the willingness to wait, but the content god is a hungry one.

The Extra

Since Mooch won the poll I have been playing another route now, I'm gonna try to make the genocide one but it may become the neutral one. Who knows! I also have been hunting for a new game to play, not gonna lie, UTY left me with a hunger for more games, but im just so damn picky. Again, feel free to suggest any good game you have encountered, especially if they are indies. I do love those ones.

See ya at the server guys!

Don LUSH

Nice to see the project coming along. My 3 indie recommendations would be 1)Indivisible: An at times disjointed mix of metroidvania and RPG (battlestyle similar to Valkyrie Profile) The cast is charming, nice music and a lot of comedy (Pretty pirate lady chasing booty cracks me up) Sadly the devs crammed too many mechanics otherwise the game would have been great. 2)Iconoclasts: Another metrodvania more focused in exploration and narrative, it was often unfairly compared to Hollow Knight and received harsh criticism, dont get me wrong it's not a perfect game and some aspects were probably rushed but it's a decent experience. 3)No Straight Roads: Coming all the way from Malaysia it's similar to Hi-Fi Rush only in being a musical game, I really love this game. You advance through stages that move along the rhythm of the bgm and then fight a boss, the basic campaign is short but you can replay bosses in multiple challenge modes. If this game had the battle polish of Hi-Fi it would have been a perfect game since in my opinion NSR has the better music. WARNING: Most criticism of this game comes from the Nintendo Switch as that port is heavily downgraded to be able to run on the system, the definitive version is on Steam but the PS4 one is also very good. Sorry if this got too long btw

Dead Pixel

I have beaten the first 2, and the third one hadn't heard of it, will give it a check!
