Good morning y'all

Seems...we haven't talked since...last year ehehe. Alright, I apologize for the bad jokes, hope y'all had a great end of the year, we are certainly starting strong this one. I have so much stuff planned for this year, we are also gonna implement the changes we have talked about, I should also update texts for the paysites and there is so much to do. But most important I gotta finish our little winter project. Before that, I wanna thank y'all for the support and staying with me, I gave some thanks on Discord but I assume some of you don't check those news, so I gotta double down here.  I appreciate all the support, It is thanks to you that I can bring this kind of content.

The Routine

Man, the latter weeks of the year feel so odd. Did you also experience it? Time flows at such a weird pace, This week I went out a bit more, the weather is nice and reminds me just a tiny bit of California, I like going on walks but sometimes this place is too humid so I can't always go for it, luckily right now it's on the cold side so I can just go for a stroll or take a walk every couple hours to stretch and then come back and keep working. It's nice. 


The Project

We are sitting right now at an 80% completion rate! 

As we know the last 10-15% is the hardest to do, There are some bs laws on gamedevving where the polish on the end stage ends up being as hard as the rest of the game, that's because the game sometimes feels less like a game until everything is together. 

The new dialogue system works amazing, it will allow me to extend some stuff and get creative with other, This is one of the hardships of coding, because, sometimes you have something that "Looks fine" but its just smoke and mirrors, doing it correctly takes time and now finally this part of the "Engine" is done! It just requires a couple of adjustments since it had to be imported to the "Engine-like" project.

When doing my usual animations the characters are a bit more moldable, I use trickery to shape em and make em look a certain way, in an engine this trickery is a bit more complicated, and since you get to interact with these characters and well, compare em side by side, sometimes its painfully obvious some are a bit...outdated. That's why some of em had to be "Updated" or rather "DP-ified" This time the characters that got this makeover are: Toriel, Undyne and Asgore



As you see they now tower a bit over everyone as they were supposed to do.


The Extra

Like last week, I haven't been able to play anything. I have been detailing my Undertale Yellow run, so if you don't wanna get spoilers, don't read this part. Oh? What's Undertale Yellow. Well, I said on week 1 but, this is a fangame that frankly, knocks it out of the park. 

my run on UTY didn't move much, Im currently fighting Axis, So im still on the Steamworks, yeah. Last 2 weeks I have focused on the project and all these small gatherings, people really are lively eh? Oh! I played a bit of Dota and the new gacha system is VERY bad, but somehow I managed to cut in, get lucky and got the skin I wanted. Long live the Kringle King!

I wanna get a chill game to play on my Steam Deck so I have something to look forward after UTY, I will report what game made it into my little runaways as soon as I have it.
