1.5.5 is mostly a quality-of-use update, but I've included a couple new features and content as well. I wanted to get this out before leaving on a short 5 day family vacation. Any bugs found will have to wait until my return as I'll be away from the VR rig for that duration. Please keep that in mind if it seems like I'm not as responsive! Thank you! I could really use a bit of a break as I have been working 80+ hour work weeks these last few months. 

Upon my return I'll be diving deep into 1.6 development as I would like to have that out before end of March.

Release notes:

* Feature: character scaling! This was a lot of work, but I think worth it in the end!

* Content: 69 new morphs (no that was not the planned number!). Most of these are thanks to backer Ren! Thank you Ren! Look in Face, Head, and Upper_Body sections for the new morphs.

* Tweak: Layered linking support - after grab, node returns to previous state, including link back to original

* Tweak: Possession end - return nodes to previous state

* Tweak: URL audio and URL images - support for save directory relative path - allows much easier bundling and sharing!

* Tweak: URL load enhancements and capture of errors and reporting to user. Fixes stuck scene that doesn't start animation

* Tweak: Added jaw angle limit for audio control

* Tweak: Jaw joint tweaks to prevent some odd physics issues

* Tweak: InvisiblePanel - added mesh outline render when selected so it can be seen

* Tweak: Disable secondary physics rate cap so audio syncing will still work on lower end machines that can't maintain 45fps

* Tweak: reordered Person controls in quick select drop list based on most-used controls

* Tweak: Load Preset and Load Pose now pause simulation and prevent big jumps and glitches

* Bug Fix: Locked controls/joints not restoring correctly

* Bug Fix: 3rd URL dropdown not refreshing after adding more URL audio

* Bug Fix: AnimationPattern - on start/load control should have been placed at 1st step position, not pattern position (fixed big jump issue)

* Bug Fix: AnimationPattern - remove now correctly removes all steps

* Bug Fix: AnimationStep - remove button at top was not correctly removing and breaking the AnimationPattern

* Bug Fix: Fixed issue with Low Shader LOD transparency shaders and other Low LOD tweaks (looks better!)

* Bug Fix: Animation Trigger Action UI not responsive and could not be removed

* Bug Fix: URL audio not getting cleared properly on scene load

* Bug Fix: Allow Grab UI text fixes on Person atom

* Bug Fix: Fixed nipple animation (was animating penis tip!)

* Bug Fix: End Action remove not working

* Bug Fix: Screen UI rendering under scene geometry

* Bug Fix: TriggerAction duplicate - Transition and End Actions were not duplicating in correct position causing dropdown UI issues

Hey! Sometimes it has a bug, where it keeps loading audio file forever :S Paused, Waiting for: URL audio: ambience. I think this was the reason why it stopped some scenes before (and never started). So, trying to debug a bit, apparently it only happens to things in clips and possibly only when after declaration in clip, it is never used elsewhere... I am not entirely true though. (Reported also in reddit, should discuss there)

make sure you have character selected and you are in edit mode then click on control tab its at the bottom, I looked in morphs for a while before i realized its not in there

Yes! As far as I know, I have been doing this from the beginning. Just make sure your files names are different.

hello ,nice to test out your new update i see something: sometimes the hair comes in the girls mouth :D she like to eat her hair but i can´t make screenshots at deskop mod, and i can´t save anythink at this mod, and i can´t cklick in snap points thank you for your work!!

Couple little things for when ever. I can't find the character scale slider and when I alter the head scale morph the hair geometry does not scale with it.

The scale slider is at the bottom of the "control" tab for the character.

Hehe i know what you mean. Its quite funny when it happens. The hair physics interacts with the mouth collider and mouth goes wide open :D

Anyone know why I can't pause/freeze a scene? been having dramas since 1.3 with it. It ticks the box but carries on with sound and motion as before. Anyway - good work, enjoy your break Sir.

My key says Invalid key for version 1.5 but works for 1.3. Do I need a new key and if so where can I get it?

Upgraded to creator - don't have any issues now - not sure if that was intentional or not but just for your info.

Yes, each version needs its own key. To the left of the top post on this page you'll find "keys" as a featured tag. It will take you to the current keys. Or just scroll down in this page until you find the post containing it.

I'm getting a bug with the Vive (not sure if this where to report it, otherwise let me know where next time). I use free move mode a lot, and when I take possession of a character, then switch back to free move mode it stays in possession mode (I forget how I possesed exactly, by moving the controllers into their body, but I may have also selected via quick select if that is possible). I saw in your dev log this had been reported by someone else, try going back and forth between free and possession in whatever ways are possible, if you can't reproduce it, I'll come up with exact steps as its happened for me multiple times and I have to restart VAM to fix it.

I'm running short on time for 1.6, so possibly, but not likely. I had a lot of bugs to fix plus had a vacation that set me on a shorter window for 1.6.

How long will it be before we get a lot more clothing choices? Right now the app is incredibly advanced in terms of morphing, posing and animation, but incredibly limited in terms of dressing our characters.

The developer has said he'll add in some clothing items designed specifically to take advantage of this effect.

Damper/spring settings are now being saved with looks instead of scene (as it used to happen in previous versions, if I am not mistaken). Which is good but also has some other downsieds. Maybe it can be done that we can choose what to load or what should overwrite what when loading a new looks setting: Lets say we created a bent over scene and adjusted breasts to hang and wobble, when loading a different look those settings will be overwritten by what is stored in the look. I am not sure what could be the most convenient way without overcomplicating and lengthening the loading process but maybe there are some ideas out there.

I second that request. Actually there is no one fits all solution. Sometimes I want the breast/glute physics to load with the look, sometimes not. Possibly a good idea would be a little load dialog that allows selection of the settings that are loaded with the look, e.g. - Breasts/glute softbody settings - Spring/damper settings - Scale - Child objects

Hey guys. I'm not sure what the right language to use is, but how do I move a node (? the thing I move with my controller when I want to move a body part) so that it is closer to the body part I want to manipulate (without moving the body part). For example, today I wanted to move a character's foot but the node was about 12 feet away from the foot. It was behind me (the puppeteer) up in the air and it took me a while to find it! I know there are reasons that you guys prefer the nodes at a distance. For me, I often find it easier and more intuitive to have the node on or near the body part I want to move.

Hi! Eyes refuse to keep their new size after a change in head scale. Is this an already reported bug?

I think this has happened to everybody at one point ot another. The way nodes work is that there's a virtual spring between each node and the body part it controls. So when the foot node is half way across the room, it's pulling the body quite a ways from where it would be if the node was off, or right on top of the foot. So there's no way to move the node back without the body position reacting.

Absolutely incredible program. 5-Stars amazing. Any chance in future releases you can add more options around specific muscle groups (biceps, triceps, lats) and also allow even more muscle? Also - the ability to do flexing animations? Obviously I am into female muscle - and you would grab a HUGE audience for Female Muscle Growth animations in your tool.

Thank you! I'm just finishing up morph animation system and was playing with some of the body tone morphs while doing so. I immediately realized this will be awesome with the muscle flex morphs. I'm going to see if I can get a license to these. I'm going to add in some kind of joint angle triggers as well such that you can set up muscle flexors to your liking. :)

Enter this code on the desktop outside of VR when you launch VaM. After you enter it you should see "Key Accepted". Now in VR you should see option to select Creator mode.

You have maybe installed in a protected directory and the file cannot be written to. You can run VaM.exe as administrator or move your install to a folder that doesn't require admin privs to write files.
