Thank you all for an incredible Patreon launch! The response so far has been much greater than I imagined!  

 For 1.1 release due sometime in August, the following items are planned: 

1. Performance improvements: Update to newer Unity version and SteamVR/OVR plugins/assets/utils. I'm also updating some of the assets I use from the Unity asset store. The hope is to eek out some more performance for this next release. To aid this, I have created 3 benchmark scenes that run on the monitor only and will be included in next release if you want to run and compare performance with others. I have captured benchmarks on my dev system and will use these as a baseline to make further performance improvements. I already use Unity profiler and other tools to do this, but the benchmarks are a nice way to compare performance between releases. I have a few other performance tweaks I plan to make that should reduce CPU load further. This should give overhead for 2nd character to be enabled (although you will need a really good system to have both characters have soft-body physics enabled).

2. Enable 2nd character and male skin. 

3. More scenes, most/all featuring 2 characters.

4. 1st pass at motion capture animation system. The 1st release will have only basic features like making single node captures at a time and playing them back. Long term plan is to make this sim a full animation engine, with clips, editing, cycles.

5. Joint tuning. I'm going to try to see if I can improve the unnatural joint bends that can occur if things are pushed too far. 

6. Many other small tweaks based on feedback so far. I'll post a detailed list when the release comes out.

Cool. In my view, the male model is great if you want to watch someone else "at it" but if you want to be the person doing the deed then having a complete male model is a bit of a waste of resources. A floating P would be suffice or just an outline.

I'll offer several options: entire male, headless male (to avoid camera clipping), genitals only. Personally for me it feels more immersive if you take male's perspective and have a complete body. But I'll give you the options so you can choose your preference after trying them all. Also 2 character activation also means you can have 2 females.

Yea I just hopped on board and I've got to say this is one of the coolest VR experiences I've seen. Not just because it has adult content. The ability to move and position all the joints and then move the entire character while holding that pose is far more advanced than what others are working on. The physics collision option is really what makes this game feel alive. I look forward to further updates.

Thank you! Glad you are enjoying it and thanks for the support. I may turn this into a more generic non-adult animation engine/sim/sandbox in the future! But adult VR sim was my 1st goal with this.

I am pretty hyped for this update as I also think having a virtual body makes the sim more immersive. Good work. BTW Meshed is basic sound for the sim planned for 1.2?

I'll start working on sound after 1.1 release. I don't know how long it is going to take to implement just a basic sound system and set of sounds so I can't promise for 1.2 yet. I do have access to some sound banks that I think will work pretty well as a start.

Very impressive work! I love how you kept the movements smooth even when using Touch to control joints. The many adjustable parameters you included allow a seemingly endless amount of creativity and fine-tuning. Mind blown!

I haven't played with Daz3D models for a long time but I was wondering if soft-body physics could be applied to the thighs as well. If not, no worries. This is so good already.

Yes it could be, but the soft-body physics is currently very CPU intensive and I can't really add more zones until Unity optimizes their Physx implementation more or I switch to a custom physics engine which is a ton of work. I already had to cut several corners on both the breast and butt physics (they could be even better with more CPU power).

Yeah the solution in there now is temporary. I was waiting for this solution, but the developer of that says that Nvidia denied them rights so it is now abandoned. Hey meshed, one issue encountered in the current version is the skin settings for the character not saving with the scene. Could this functionality be added for the next release? Spent a lot of time tweaking spec settings and its a pain to have to redo and not be able to share.

Also question re possession mode. Would it be possible to link the male characters hands to cotrollers then grab other nodes?

I noticed the same, sometimes they load, but most of the time they don't.

If this work was combined with some of the features of XStoryPlayer (X Moon Productions), it wold be quite something!

I totally second what you write here, that game developer is very distant, no longer updating or responding to questions for months, and it seems the whole project isn't happening. I would LOVE those features in this game with meshed VR.

Yes - you can actually do that now. Try it on the female character. "Full" grab one of her hands. Once toggled and you are moving the hand around use the "Quick" grab to grab other things. Her hand should also flex a little when you do the "Quick" grab so you know it is working. I currently don't do a more full grab motion because the physics on the hand and fingers is still pretty funky and it ends up glitching and creating unnatural look. So for now it just makes a slight flex until I can fix to do a more controlled grip.

I was going to propose that an animation system would make this sim grow quickly from the user base. Glad you already thought of this!

Wow, absolut amazing physics and easy to create your own poses. Hope there will be a possibility to save user settings (character customization and poses) in a future release.

Several save options are available at creator level. You can save full scenes or just character poses or appearance. I may trickle down limited save features to lower support levels at some point.

I dont know why, but at the intial menu screen, Im not allowed to press ready even though my lasers are pointing at the icon. Restarted computer, same issue. Happened after I entered in patreon code.

Do the pointers work on the selection box for selecting content level? For oculus use A or X to press the buttons/interact with UI. For Vive use the thumpad. It is possible the key.json file got messed up. You can try re-extracting it from the zipfile and then enter the keys again. Make sure to use capital letter for the key or you might get the keyfile error. If you stlil have trouble, please send me a private message and I'll see if we can figure out what has happened.

Running the patch makes me lose the lasers altogether

The patch accidentally removes the visible pointers, but there should still be small red and blue dots that appear on the UI to know you are interacting. This will be fixed in 1.1 coming out soon.

Really great work! I am impressed. And all points that I would have suggested, like other hair color and styles or audio reaction, were named in other posts already. Keep up the awesome work. I hope the community grows to support you.

Before end of month for sure. It is nearly feature complete but then I have loads of testing to do and create some new scenes for all backer levels.

You mean for sound? The collision detection is already in there, but it only makes the physical model and skin react. Sound will be in future release and this will be one of the options.
