Pretty big update/fix coming up in the next version, folks. To start, I'm adding the ability to create interior spaces by placing building pieces on tiles. These will serve as homes for your monsters, or places for you to sleep or work, when this system is complete there will be furniture pieces which can only be placed indoors, a bed for example. Stronger Monster species will also require an interior space as a Breeding Requirement.

Another important breakthrough is the implementation of the "pen" system I've mentioned in the past. I figured out an efficient way to check for connected tiles while constructing the building system, which can populate a list of "penned areas." Basically any tiles which are not separated by fence pieces will be placed in an array which defines the pens. Then, monsters can search for sex partners, food, pathing, etc. based only on the tiles which are included in their current pen.

This will solve many problems surrounding monster pathing. They will no longer try to move outside their pen constantly, they will not be able to have sex with targets through fences, and I'll be able to reintroduce the feral monster system in the way I had originally planned. But more on that later.

The buildings are fairly simple square wooden structures for now, but I will be adding options for decorating them in the future, as well as adding a roof that isn't just a flat surface. You will be able to set the interior and exterior walls, and floor textures in this upcoming version (1.35), however. Eventually I would like to add "wallpapers" and floor textures which allow you to create different types of interior spaces for Monsters, like caves for Goblins, etc.
