    Monster Girl Garden v1.06b is now Available!

    All versions have now been updated to 1.06b. This version adds a new building, the Monster Academy, 3 new NPCs, and 9 new quests to teach new players the basics. It also fixes a bunch of interior light errors, some problems with the Monster Happiness system, and adds the Monster Manager, for viewing all Monsters in your Garden, and detailed information about their genetics and records.There's a problem with the Quest indicators that normally appear above the NPCs heads for the new Quest givers.     MGG v1.06 Planned Release Date

    Hey everyone, just a quick post here to let you know I should have the new version ready to go some time on the 27th, early 28th at the latest. This version adds the Monster Academy with 3 quest lines, the Monster Manager for viewing detailed Monster info, fixes a bunch of glitches in the Monster Happiness system, and lays the foundation for Female Player characters (although she may be missing an animation or two for now, mostly just tool usage.)

    So Patreon has recently enabled creators to charge yearly for subscriptions. This helps us both out, as I know I'll have support from these members for a longer period of time, and they will receive a discount of 12% on their pledge.So where a year at $5 would normally cost around $60, with the yearly subscription you'll only pay $52.80, or $4.40 per month.

    Monster Academy Info

    Hey everyone, I just wanted to make a quick post here explaining a little more about the Monster Academy you'll be able to play in the upcoming version. This is by far the biggest quest patch I've ever added at one time, adding a total of 9 quests (some with multiple parts) to the game.In the Monster Academy you will find 3 trainers, each will give you quests to teach you different aspects of the game:1. The Gardening trainer will teach you about planting flowers, trees, and their affect on Monster Happiness and Hunger.2. The Blacksmithing trainer will teach you about mining ores, smelting bars, and upgrading tools.3. The Command trainer will teach you about different monster commands, how to use them, and what they do.     MGG v1.055b now Available!

    All Silver+ Versions have been updated to 1.055b. This version expands the Encyclopedia a huge amount, adding inclusive information for every item in the game.     Hey everyone, I've been working on expanding the Encyclopedia to include more sections, such as Items, Tools, Buildings, and a General Help section to help newer players get acquainted with the finer more hidden points of the game.I should have a new version in a few days including this, and a controls settings menu which will let you change your keybindings.

    Tax Settings Applied

    Hey everyone, I just wanted to make a quick post to let you all know I've completed the tax adjustment settings for each tier. This is part of something Patreon is asking all of it's creators to do, in order to save you all some money when the sales tax starts getting adding on July 1st.A bit more information in case you missed the last post:-Patreon is adding sales tax to certain rewards to conform with new laws-Most people will not see a change, unless you are in a state which requires this tax to be collected-Users are only charged tax for certain rewards, I've set them all up under tier rewards so this will mitigate some of the sales tax, for those who have to pay it.For example:Silver tier is a 5 dollar pledge, and I'm pretty sure only 20% of the rewards are taxable, therefore if you are required to pay tax in your state, you would only be paying tax on 20% of $5 dollars , ideally (which works out to around 20 cents).

    Hoping to have a playable version with the new navigation mesh changes out soon, I'm still finding the best ways to deal with a few new problems the changes caused.     New Patch!

    Patch coming tomorrow for the new version of MGG, it will fix an error which was preventing Holstaurs from residing (actually, it was just checking for an extra requirement by mistake), and a simple nav error which was making it hard for monsters to move around. The Nav error was actually because I was rebuilding the Monster wandering system, but forgot to compartmentalize those changes. Sorry about that! I'm aiming to totally revamp the wander system for version 1.05b.

    Just a post here to let everyone know I'll be uploading a mid version (1.045b) a couple days from now. It will include all the recent bug fixes, as well as the new auto save system. For the few people who don't want it included, don't worry, I'll be adding an option to turn it off. You'll be asked at the start of a new game if you want auto save enabled, and if you want to change your mind at any point you'll be able to do so from the settings menu.

    Autosave?

    So I've been thinking about adding this feature for a while, since I've heard a lot of stories about people losing their progress because of glitches, and I really hate to hear that.Autosave is a weird feature, because in some games it can ruin a save file. The good thing about MGG however, is that it starts up clean no matter where you saved, since events and player location are not considered when loading. So adding this feature could save a lot of headaches, if at midnight every new day the game autosaved, the worst case scenario would be having to start the day over.I'm making this poll public, but remember that I always weigh the opinions of Patrons higher, based on pledge level.
