How/When did you guys make the decision to make the channel your full-time jobs? (I am assuming this is the case for both of you, though I only remember George stating this explicitly) Was there a specific point that made you make the leap, or was it the case that it just eventually became financiall viable to do so? Hey guys! Long time viewer, first time commenter here. What are aspects that make you most interested in a story? And did it change over the past few years? I, personally loved exciting, action-packed movies as a teen and in my early twenties, until I watched 12 Angry Men (1957) and other classics like Amadeus (1984). Now, some of the most intense scenes I know involve people talking in a room while I couldn't be more bored by most action movies. Keep up the great work!

@Goerge: BTW, I am also a non-native speaker who learned English mostly by watching stand up comedy (mainly Louis CK, George Carlin, Dave Chapelle, Patrice O'Neal, etc.) and political commentary on YouTube, so I kinda felt a kinship when you mentioned that one time :) It really is a great way to learn the language though, which is why I recommend it to my students now that I'm an ESL teacher here in Germany.

Yes, me too! I loved when they discussed the films a bit having thought about them, more than just reacting in the moment. As I watch more movie reaction channels, they tend to favor movies that are more "spectacular", like they have a big twist or surprise, or jumpscares, or a big action sequence... just because they generate better content to have a big reaction to. But I like this channel more than others because they watch more outliers: more foreign films, indies, more quiet hidden gems, and listening to them discuss them in the 'podcast' videos was super interesting. Hope they bring it back!

Hi guys, I often find myself not voting in quite a few polls as none of the movies are to my liking. I'm sure it happens once in a while but it has become more frequent recently. Might I suggest the following? Is it worth grabbing a bunch of movie titles from AFI, Netflix, Google trends, etc. and then doing an open poll for next few months for eg 50 movies, with a yes/no option on whether the audience wants to watch it at some point in the future. One thing I remember George mentioning is that he wants to do more Anime (especially Studio Ghibli) but is hesitant to do so because of how sensitive the Japanese studios are to perceived re-distribution (understandable as Japan doesn't have the same concept of "fair use" as we do). My question is: have you considered doing those sorts of movies as Patreon exclusives in the same way you approach TV shows? I feel like the mix of not needing to take the time to do edited reaction highlights + making being a paid Patreon member more enticing could offset the lack of Adsense revenue.

Just wanted to say thank you for the laughs and feels with your reactions over the last few years, ever since I heard George make that one joke in the Sin City reaction and Simone's horrified reaction I knew I had stumbled onto gold. My question is in relation to a potential movie that you hopefully react to one day, Grindhouse (2007) which is a great tribute to 70's style exploitation cinema and is a double feature of two movies with several fake trailers. This movie was a great collaboration between several directors Robert Rodriguez, Eli Roth, Rob Zombie, Quentin Tarantino and Edgar Wright with Robert and Quentin directing Planet Terror and Death Proof - the two main features in the double feature- with Robert, Eli, Rob and Edgar providing fake trailers as the intermission between each movie and should be watched as one big cinematic experience. My question is if you had enough power and influence to make the ultimate collaboration project with any directors/actors/crew you wanted, who would you both pick and what style of movie you'd go for? You have complete creative freedom and an unlimited budget. It's THE ultimate vanity project
