December 12th Weekly Update (Patreon)

This week tried really hard to kick my ass, but it was only partially successful.

After dealing with some medical issues, I then had to deal with some computer overheating issues after not one but two fans died at the same time.

So my week wasn't as productive as I'd have liked, but I did get stuff done!

As you can see in the video above, I have a web attack for the spider all worked out.  Right now getting webbed will make the character immobile for a few seconds, but not stop them from doing other actions.  I have it set up so that it does NOT stack, so if you get hit again while already stuck, the effect won't last longer.  It also currently doesn't do any damage, but that is something that can be worked out as well if needed.

The important thing is that the spiders don't stun lock you.

I also found a really nice swamp set for SUPER cheap, and I'm pretty excited about it.  That kinda of environment is perfect for a lot of cool areas, especially with some of the more water oriented enemies I've got.

It'll need some adjustments but it already looks great, even in day light with no fog and such.

Given the computer issues, I wasn't able to get any animations done.  I had hoped to knock out  a few more of the bathing animation.

I was able to work on one of the monster models quite a bit, and he's pretty much ready for the detail pass (the color is just a temporary thing)

These guys are humans who have been twisted into fish men from the deep.  There is going to be these guys, and then another version which has completed the mutation.   The fish men are always looking to increase their numbers, and hopefully they'll end up being cool enemies.


I did manage to fix my computer, so I should be back on track.
