It was a busy week and I got a lot accomplished.

I showed off a basic portal to make the tent look larger on the inside then it is last week, but the effect didn't look real great.
I was able to find a system that works a lot better, and after some considerable troubleshooting, got the effect working fairly well.

This is a cool effect that I imagine I can use in other instances.  Because of that, I didn't have a problem spending some extra time to make sure I got it working correctly.

I spent some time working on  a few bugs as well.  There is an error with post process volumes when underwater that I plugged away at.
I also caught a pretty big bug that can cause you to freeze up when you pick something up as it is destroyed.

I continued work on mapping out the next level.  I'm kinda building a narrative on how this level will play out, and I've got some ideas for interesting traps and encounters.

The level isn't near done, but I made some major progress on it.

I've tried to continue to make props for my world, specifically focusing on some of Meridiana's furniture in her tent.

First up is a bathtub!  Was going for an old timey copper tub!

How does she empty it, or fill it??  Magic of course!

Trying to also keep up on my modular town stuff, I built some generic wooden footers I can use for the bottom of the houses.  If they are on uneven terrain, this will help them even out.

I've been able to stick to two trim textures for this, so I'm pretty happy with it.

The last thing I wanted to comment on was my working in the beginnings of the mana generation system.

I want a way to build a little variety in the magic system, and what spells are being used when.  Instead of building a magic bar for each element, Meridiana needs to pull the needed mana from the environment around her.
She can do so by holding Q (the same button used to help you charm enemies.)    Once you've pulled the mana towards you, you can then use it to cast spells.  (that part still needs to be implemented)
I'm still working out what is more interesting, as far as having mana visible, (right now it is only visible while you are pulling it, and with second sight)  and how often it generates. (it currently generates only when you pull it, not on its own)

Once its done, I do think it'll be a neat idea.

That's about it for this week, Thanks so much for your support, have a safe week!

Large Room and Mana Generation

Got the portal effect to work correctly, without any flicker. Had to disable shadows on the skylight to do so though. :( Also shows off the mana generation effect.

Nice I think it's a pretty interesting direction.

I really like all the progress you've made during this time. I hope everything will continue to go smoothly!
