Like I said, I started this week with doing some learnings and mini classes on environmental stuff. This class was a little difficult to follow, so I'm not sure its something I'd recommend yet.
In the meantime I didn't really want to do any environmental stuff, so I took some time to correct the problems people were having with the puzzle area. As shown in the video above, the response is no longer physics, so it should always work.
I've also taken some time to try again on making that jump to the latest version of unreal. That has involved a lot of time trying to fix a few funky errors. The big one seems to revolve around a material node(power) acting differently. So I'm forced to remake certain FX and materials.
Hopefully I'll get this done this weekend, and get to move on to more interesting things!
