This week I put out a new build for the $5+ patrons, so testing that build was a big part of my week.  

To that effect, I corrected the problems with animations not aligning properly.

I also took a little time to adjust how knocking enemies down, and enemies getting back up works, as it tended to be a bit extreme.  I've toned it down, and now have some enemies getting up a little faster then before.

I've also wanted to add more hazards, and the first one I worked on was a simple spike trap.  You can walk over the trap with no problem, but land on it from a jump, and it will cause some damage.   I have implemented it in a few spots in the level, but I plan to add a few more dangerous uses for this trap.

In order to test the changes I've made to how spells and abilities work, I've made a few simple/sample abilities that can be stolen from various enemies.  I'm not sure the ones I've made will stick around, but I will fine tune them over time.

Among these abilities are:  

A simple rock throw for the small goblins - This is kinda useless as an attack, but the sound will distract nearby enemies.

A Ram attack for the pig goblins.  - This kinda mimics the dash, so its not super useful.  I will likely change this one a bit

A copy of the Witch Doctor Goblin's attack.  -  Same attack the witchdoctor has, but now you can use it!


I'll likely spend the next week doing some refinements on this, and making adjustments based on feedback from the test.

Any idea on a timeframe for when all/most of the animations from the recent gallery build will be fully functional in the next game build? Any ideas for new animations or enemies?

i dont know if im alone on that but sometime i got this lag that my game skip a part of the map when i load the second zone and i end up on the last part of the zone ( i dont get the water part etc )

I played the Halloween update, but at times the animations still don't line up. You'd have to advance the animation to the next step for them to line up again. And it's a little frustrating that the charmed enemies don't do anything when you use the seduce spell if you have more of them charmed than there is an animation for. So more than one of the masked goblin for example. The targeting graphic for the teleport spell has also disappeared on my on multiple occasions.
