This week isn't a long update, nor is it particularly interesting.  I did get the new witchdoctor animations working in game, and have him all hooked up, but I still need to finish his more interesting animations.

Unreal Engine 4.18 promised some interesting volumetric precomputed lighting.  So I upgraded, and played with this a bit, hoping to get some more efficient lighting.   I did get a few lighting builds that would save me about 10 fps, but they were overly dark, and we all remember how that went!

Unfortunately doing lighting builds can take a while, so that ate up a bit more time then I'd like.  

There are a few features I do hope to take advantage of, so it wasn't wasted time!

Sorry this isn't an exciting update.  I'm afraid that these updates might stop being interesting as I go on, and do less interesting things week to week.

any update is a good update. keep up the good work man!

Man, you need to do your fucking thing. Th development is not all about visible things, lots of things are not seen by the user, so you have to update and do a lot of things under carpet. That is great you experiment and find new stuff for us to entertain, good luck with that! And I hpe for Linux build too!
