Release date for next update (and a CG WIP) (Patreon)

Hey there, everyone,

I know you guys would rather I already come out with the new update here and now, but it'll take me about five to seven days to finish it for a few reasons.

First of all, since the Haruki update was released on the 7th of October, I haven't yet had a full month to work on the next update. However, even that wouldn't have been much of a problem. I actually could have maybe squeezed it in time. The actual problem was... I couldn't decide on who to update next!

Truth be told, one of the main reasons for me to release Haruki when I did (instead of waiting until everyone else had been completed) was that he is such a breath of fresh air to write—sticking so firmly to the schedule and writing the three main characters repeatedly has made me feel a bit stuck. Not that I don't enjoy the process, but when I first started Tennis Ace, I had a lot more freedom to go around (I did not live in post-plague days), and I had access to my college library to go to when I needed a change of environment. Writing day in and day out in the same environment without a deviation in schedule can stifle creativity. Even if I know what I want to write, I keep staring at the blank page for far too long.

Writing for Haruki allowed for a break in routine, which increased my productivity. The problem is, my desire to write Haruki was so great that I kept hopping between writing for him (what I wanted to do) and writing for Jun (the next character supposed to get updated). So instead of having one complete update, I ended up having two incomplete ones.

So a few days ago, I decided to pivot toward focusing on finishing Haruki's update first since that one is the closest to completion (no big shock there). The hope is that Jun will be able to follow behind soon, but I can't make any huge promises as to that.

So, to cut the endless yammering short: this update is a bit delayed because I couldn't choose between updating Jun or Haruki. The next update will be Haruki. Haruki's next update will be out in a few days.

And now I leave you all with a Jun CG WIP. This scene is still a while away, but I like to get the NSFW CGs made way in advance of them being used in the game, so I can make sure everything is perfect. It's pretty polished, but it's not yet complete. Variations need to be done, as well as adding some objects to the background to liven it up a little.
