Howdy, guys!

Hope you've all been doing super well! As you've seen, things have been progressing rather rapidly as of late and I really hope to continue going at that pace x3

The question I have now is for after I'm done making the Character Select events for Jun and Keisuke. I wanted you guys to vote on what kind of update schedule I should use. Here's the two options I've come up with:

Option 1 - Have a vote to decide what character gets to be the main focus. Then, release two updates for the voted character and then one for another character. To exemplify, let's take the results of the last popularity poll into consideration (the one where Shoichi won). If this option were to be chosen and Shoichi were voted, updates would go in this order: Shoichi, Shoichi, Jun, Shoichi, Shoichi, Keisuke[...] and then alternate like that. This means that Shoichi would get two updates per trimester and four updates per semester. Of course, this also means that if another character were voted more popular, that one character would get this treatment! This has the perks of making a specific route progress faster (and also get to the 18+ scenes faster, which I know a lot of people are interested in), but at the downside of leaving the other two routes behind.

OR

Option 2 - Have the character follow a neat and even update schedule: Jun, Shoichi, Keisuke, Jun, Shoichi, Keisuke[...], hence making them all get updated at the same pace.

I decided that this was a question better left for you guys so I'm leaving it up for you to vote here. If you could also leave a comment on why you chose a specific option, that would be most helpful x)

The poll will go on for seven days so make sure to vote!

Thank you~

Por mais que euzinho seja gamado no Shoichi (e tenho quase certeza que ele ia ganhar mais updates) eu creio que seria um pouco injusto priorizar uma rota em prol de outras . Uma distribuição mais igual seria a melhor opção.

Well, personally speaking, I like to restart the novel after each update. This way, I get to try different choices, etc, and gives me time to read through it before the next update comes out. However, I do like the idea of focusing more on a voted character as well, but I voted for option 2.

I'd say keeping it even is the best option from both a writing standpoint and as a reader. It gives a variety so you don't get burnt out on one character, plus if you ever hit writers block on a certain character you can skip them for one update without having to worry too much about them getting too far behind. Also if someone likes a specific character and not the other two they might only play through updates for that character so it would be less wait for them between updates.

I don't think characters should be put on the back burner. It seems unfair to people who like the characters that aren't chosen

I wouldn't call it unfair, as we don't do the writing and coding, but I do see your point and happen to agree. :)

I think the fans are the people to be considered here, since it'd be the same amount of writing and coding regardless of who's actually getting the most updates.

While I would love the idea of shoichi getting more updates, I think an even update schedule would be best. That way it wouldn't feel like any of the characters are left behind compared to the more popular one. Richard pretty much summed up what I was thinking too.

I've started with the latest Update Yesterday, and i'm just at Day 6 after 4 Hours of playing it. Even tho i want to see more of Shoichi, i think the Updates should be even, so we can see more of the Story from different angles. And it's Fair! Yeah Shoichi is great, he will be my first Choice in this Playthrough, but on the next one i want to see more of June. Because you've just met him!
