Another "edit study", this time from me. I mention in the latest episode why I suspect Batty Baseball was edited without Tex Avery's involvement by MGM before it was released to theaters, and I mention it again here. Take a look and see what you think. (Side-note critique: if this first Blu-Ray was indeed "the best stuff Tex did" as one boomer proclaimed, it would certainly not include this one...)

Such a great print of this too. I remember watching it all the time on Boomerang's MGM block, but your cut really does this cartoon so much more justice. Great stuff.

I always thought there was something not quite right about the way the gag credits were executed. At the very least they could have put a note on the prints the same way they informed the projectionists about the animated hair in Magical Maestro. Assuming that’s what went down. This simulation is perfect.
