I'm getting the same issues as version D had in Win11 - I hit Activate and the CCD freq monitor freezes after a few seconds, profiles stop changing, stats stop tracking

Anonymous

What versions of AMD chipset & AGESA are you testing the build against?

Anonymous

Awesome work m8! Is There gonna be compability for ryzen laptops some time in the future? :)

Can we just swap our 1.0D profiles into this?

Any Reason why windows would say this is a Trojan Horse and to remove it??? Trojan:Win32/Sabsik.TE.A!ml is what it got marked as. It did it right in the middle of running the program. It stopped and reset my computer and then once it rebooted, it didn't come back up like normal. When trying to run it again, I got the message that this was a trojan horse to uninstall immediately!!! Any reason why this would say that?

Anonymous

I doubled checked to make sure that it wasn't another program that was causing the virus detections and it clearly says Hydra 1.0E is the culprit. Didn't get this on any of the previous versions.

Anonymous

Roland, if you read the comments to 1.0D release announcement, you'll see that numerous other people had the same issue. It's a false positive because of how Hydra interacts with Windows. See the virus report for 1.0E here https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/e849174b27ae08fee8aa432e70af980b3f20c090016561669a5205bbe0b82eb0?nocache=1 and for 1.0D here https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/6ebde4935b85efe4c1a568aa1230ca16f5654668e641a4572a4b255cfa4cda40 . Yuri himself responded to multiple comments stating as such.

Thanks for the clear up. Must have missed the comment when scrolling through. Just being causes. LoL Thanks Again.

I also have a problem that the program operation freezes. I checked the process, and I think there is a conflict with CORSAIR iCUE. https://ibb.co/72kykWz I'm using iCUE because of CORSAIR AIO cooler. Is there a way?

Anonymous

Crashing with this version like D version. 1.0C works fine.

Anonymous

Hmm I'm using iCUE 4.17.244 without problems. Maybe try without iCUE for some hours and see if it still freezes?

Anonymous

I lost between 75 and 125 MHz in Gaming Profile. But CO table #1 seems to be more stable in games now, since I haven't had any crashes so far and the profile makes up or the loss which I have with table #2 :)

Anonymous

What are your settings for PPT/EDC/TDC? Any other power settings from Windows you've set to a different setting? Any feedback in your logs? For the 5950x this version has been the most stable for me and it was all due to several power settings..

Anonymous

is the auto update the new "trojan" that is being detected?

Anonymous

Minor issue discovered, which I think is present in most recent versions. When the monitor goes into sleep mode and is reactivated, Hydra appears maximized, and sometimes not visible. To bring back into view, I select app on taskbar, then Windows Key + arrow keys

New thing happening from my side. I managed to get myself a 6900xt and it's running great! However, the pc crashed multiple times now playing games and my game offset is already at -75.. before this I've never had to touch the game offset. I first thought maybe the 6900xt is running the case too hot, but the CPU temps stay quite stable. Do I need to rerun a diagnostics?

hello I have some problems that cannot be solved. Can someone help me? My computer cpu: 5900x MB: asus tuf x570 gaming pro wifi Ram: Ballistix 3600 C16 16G(8G*2) CPU Cooling: NZXT X63 RGB Two days ago, I used 1.0E PPT300 EDC 200 TDC 180 to run DIAGNOSTIC. After running DIAGNOSTIC, regardless of whether the XOC or OC is turned on, the computer will automatically restart. Then I changed it to PPT 195 EDC 170 TDC 125. The result of running again is still the same. Is there a way to help guide how to deal with it? I seem to have had a somewhat successful Diagnostic second time around on the OC setting. However I am having some issues with crashes when the system comes off load. eg. testing cores manually or running a boost test is ok, while its running. If I select cancel evaluation or manually stop it in CB the system crashes and reboots. Its a similar issue to what I was having with CTR and when manually playing with the CO settings in bios. Otherwise the tool seems to work well to determine best settings. Great work so far on this tool so far!! If anyone has some suggestions for keeping the system stable coming off boost that would be amazing, but if not, I will have a tinker and see what I can come up with. FWIW my system is: 5950x Asrock Taichi x570 6800xt 3600mhz CL14 G.Skill B die with a few M.2 ssd's thrown in the mix Windows 11.

Guys, i need you help, im getting the error message processor unsupported. i have the 5900x, how do i fix this ? i have b550 E rog stix motherboard

Anonymous

This is flagging as a Virus, Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml

Anonymous

Using Hydra 1.0E now, after updating from 1.0A. It's GOOD. Only once I had a weird thing happening where the profile was switching from ALL (AVX2) to no profile and PPT was jumping between 130W and 189W. Once I exited Hydra and started it again, the profile stayed on ALL (AVX2) and PPT stayed at 130W.

Anonymous

Is it a normal state that Hydra utilizes core 12 (5900X) for core control? When a profile is active on my crappy 5900X core clock is always between 2000-3500 Mhz, falling immediately to 0 when the profile is disabled.

I have 5600x, and this varsion isnt stable, like 1.0D. With 1.0C all works perfect...Random reboots and program didnt show why...

Anonymous

Getting 'virus detected' when downloading :/ (Windows 11 defender).

Anonymous

What GPU and PSU are you using. Any messages coming up in Event Viewer? Random reboots without any CPU messages could be a power issue..

Anonymous

yeah, same. Virus detected. Not happening with D.

Anonymous

The detected Trojan also caused all my backups to fail. Can't use this version at the moment

Thanks, allowed to run now

I could get the Core CO and CCD CO values no problem (it stopped once between them), so I disabled them in the settings after they were done, now I'm wasting a lot of time on the voltage search step and it keeps getting this CMD_FAILED error.

Some sensors are damaged. You need to reinstall the BIOS after a complete reset (remove the battery and discharge the capacitors).

Oh, this actually happpened once before, a little after I upgraded to the 5950x from a 3600x. I don't remember if I was already using hydra or was still on CTR, but at one point I lost some sensors from HWInfo and thought it was the program that was bugged, until some time later I got a message after a bsod that I have a corrupted bios and need to reflash. I think this could be similar, but this time I don't notice any weirdness outside Hydra (and lots of instability that I'm trying to fix one step at a time by increasing the CO values after crashing). Will just shorting the CMOS clear jumper suffice instead if removing the battery?

Also what could be causing this corruption, excessing restarts due to instability?

Mentioned in discord nobody knows the issue other than possibly a prime 95 problem, yet it’s not affecting others. Most bizarre testing and results I could imagine, diagnostic spends only 2-3 mins per core with crazy values.

When I lock my account, the system crashes and reboots. It happens with both Hydra 1.0D and 1.0E but 1.0A is fine. I don't remember if this happens with 1.0B and 1.0C. I have a 5900X and a Crosshair VIII Dark Hero (BIOS 3904) running on Windows 10 21H2.

Hi Yuri, been testing 1.0E for a while now on latest Win11 public build with lates BIOS and Chipset drivers on a Crosshair VIII Hero. Just had to dial back the CO on every core just a tiny bit. Now no more crashes or other strange behavior. Just 1 thing I noticed: When I play dyson sphere program and some other games HWInfo (also latest public build) reports 152,4 °C on CPU die (average) as maximum temp. This is funny because CCD1 and CCD2 of my 5900x have 81,5°C and 61,8°C respectively as max value. The PC does not restart or crash because this temp is honestly not safe. From my point of view this is a HWinfo reporting bug. Could you please give me your thoughts about that? Thanks and please continue your great work in 2022!!!
