08 / 03 WIP (Patreon)

안녕하세요! 8월의  첫번째 작업 과정입니다. 7월에 시작한 월페이퍼를 이어서 계속 작업합니다.

// Hello! This is the first working process in August. I continue to work on the wallpaper that started in July.

여기까지가 지난번 작업 현황이었습니다. 막간으로 한 작업도 그렇지만 이번에는 배경의 비중이 캐릭터에 비해서 굉장히 큽니다.

작업을 하게 되면 항상 각 부위와 레이어의 관계를 생각해서 그리지만 이번은 더욱 더 신경써줍시다.

// So far, this was the status of the last time. The background is very important compared to the character.

Whenever i work on something, i always think about the relationship between each part and layer, but let's pay more attention this time.

먼저 몸체는 카메라에서 가장 가까우며 가장 선명하게 보입니다. 이 몸체가 기준이 됩니다.

 따라서 몸체의 디테일 작업을 먼저 해줍니다.  

// First of all, the body looks the closest and clearer to the camera. This body is the reference.

 Therefore, the body details are done first.

항상 그렇지만, 가려지는 부분은 적당히 해도 상관 없습니다.

//  As always, You don't have to worry about the part that is covered.

다음은 날개입니다. 날개는 두번째로 비중이 높으며 화면에 굉장히 크게 나타납니다. 

화면에서 제일 큰 비중을 차지하는 것들만 디테일하게 작업하고 나면 나머지는 어렵지 않습니다.

//  Next is the wings. Wings are the second most important. It's very big on the screen. 

Once you've worked on the details of the things that make up the biggest portion of the screen, the rest are not difficult. 

콕핏, 행어, 타워까지 그려줍니다. 날개와 몸체 뒤에 적당히 가려지기 때문에 어렵지 않습니다.

사실 제일 힘든부분은 원화에 나타나지 않은 날개 뒷부분입니다. 디자인만 제대로 되어있으면 무엇이든 어렵지 않지요.

// Draw cockpit, hangers, and towers. It's not difficult because it's properly covered behind the wings and the body.

In fact, the hardest part is the back of the wing that doesn't appear in the concept art. Anything is not difficult if the design is right.

원화의 중요성을 깨닫게 되는 순간입니다.

//  This is the moment when I realize the importance of the concept art. 

이후, 캐릭터를 다시 배치 해 줍니다.

//  Then, re-position the character. 

최종적으로 뒷 배경과 바다를 배치하여 최종적으로 잘 그려졌는지 확인합니다.  

이 때 어느정도 최종 결과물에 해당하는 모습을 조금이나마 확인해 볼수 있기 때문에 뿌듯해지는 순간이기도 합니다.

// Finally, place the background and sea to make sure that it is finally well drawn.  

It's also a proud moment because you can see a little bit of the final result.

빛은 임의로 배치해봤는데, 나름대로 괜찮은 느낌인것 같네요. 어쨌든 다음은 고대하던 캐릭터 디테일 작업입니다.

//  I've arranged the light randomly, but I think it's pretty good.  Next is the character detail work I've been looking forward to. 

여담이지만, 최근 컨디션 난조가 있었습니다.

// As a matter of fact, I haven't been feeling very well lately.

약을 먹어가며 몸을 관리하고 있지만 쉽지가 않네요. 다음부터는 조금이라도 늦어질 것 같으면 공지로 알려드리겠습니다.

// I'm taking medicine and taking care of my body, but it's not easy. I'll let you know if I'm going to be any late from now on.

이 지역은 비가 굉장히 많이 옵니다. 다들 몸 관리 잘 하셨으면 좋겠네요. 오늘도 봐주셔서 감사합니다.
