Hey pals! Just thought I'd post here in case people didn't see - the final version of the Vaccines video is now public.

I'm catching up on sleep and getting some admin work done (YouTube just now reminded me I have three days to file some kind of tax form with them actually) and I'll have a poll  for $10 patrons on the next video, and some other stuff, up soon. "Some other stuff?" yes, I am that tired, that's how the words came out.

Just so it’s more visible I’ll repost this here (and no more, I promise :)) ‘Please hire somebody to make proper subtitles/captions for your videos. I know A LOT of people, who would very much enjoy your content, but can hardly watch videos in English (especially with British accent) without subtitles.’

in your april update, you mentioned the vaccines video having a "sequel" of sorts on the media after deciding to split the topic into two videos. is that still your plan or have you decided to shelve it? thanks, it's a great video as always <3

The additions and edits in the final version are great. Very nice final product. I'm waiting for the inevitable response videos of angry people in costume wigs who won't directly reference anything in the original. I'm going to use that "coffin has fallen through the floor from the sheer weight of all the nails that have been hammered in it" line in the future.

The video was great, but perhaps more interesting was how much ableism is in the comments. Pretty much all of them are replies to autistic people who were thanking you for addressing the issue, mostly calling them selfish for wanting to be treated as a human being.

Thanks again for this! One thing I remember from my pre-vaccine childhood is that measles could also cause serious eye problems including blindness. So, sure, let’s expose our children to blindness and death because that must be better than autism! Thanks again for your thorough work!

While there is so much to enjoy about you content in general, an aspect of this video I particularly appreciated is you insight into what your viewers expect from you. You know many of us expect someone they trust ("you already agree with") to do the research for them, which, while not ideal at first, is also necessary, given how many things humanity knows and how little each human knows. It feels like a promise to keep doing your best. And when you actively strive to turn something dark and depressing into a source of light and change, as you do at the end of this video, you're, in my worthless opinion, doing the absolute best someone in you position can do. So, thank you. It's hard to imagine things getting better, and that we can be the ones to improve them even more so, and it must be exhausting to convince others they can. Thank you for that too.

finally watched this video tonight! great job kat, hbomb, and co! this is seriously one of the best videos on the channel to date—kind of mind boggling how great it is, honestly. it’s like a real documentary. i was wondering (just cuz i’m curious! i hope this doesn’t come off as intrusive or demanding) are you all still going to make a second part to this video? would love to see what else you all have to say on this topic (if there’s anything else) after you get some much needed rest!

After seeing this video I went to my local bookstore and ordered Brian Deer's book. I've now began reading it. I'm only 70 pages in, but it is so well written and has surprised me by making me aware of some of my own biases. Like when Deer describes the ward that the children came to for the tests as being very pleasant. I realised I'd had this mental image of a decrepit and unsanitary hellhole of the ward. But as they say, evil sometimes wears a pretty face. Really makes me consider making a video discussing this book. So, thank you for the book recommendation, Hbomb! :3

I'm a new patron. this is the video that convinced me to join eventually. It made me more angry than I ever remember being whilst not actually manic, so there's that. but i've been sending it around the people I know who are dealing with anti-vax-adjacent contacts and they're finding it useful, I hear.
