During the premiere of my Knight video, a lot of the contributing artists were talking about my briefing document.

I'm difficult to work with. I don't like group chats, and if I'm in one I rarely interact. I also dislike micro management and try to encourage people to have faith in their own vision.  So, it's true, I basically shout "just f***ing do it", but I thought it might be nice for you all to see exactly what one of my briefing documents is like!

Enjoy!

Shut your face I was literally just fighting with myself yesterday over whether it’d be an overstep to ask anyone what the doc looked like; this is cool as heck!!! But now there are more questions of engagement and feedback and requests for decisions and gosh, curiouser and curiouser.

Jim! I love seeing this! You put a lot of work into this creation. You’re just a tough director who makes everyone use their imaginations to the fullest without that pesky micromanagement attitude. The result was excellent. I want to keep this document. Thank you! Xoxo 🤗🖤😘

You difficult to work with... Nah! This is why some of your best collabs have been done with people who just really get you and understand how you work and appreciate your style... They don't need much direction.... They can already sense what direction you want them to go. It's like a well oiled machine.... With a million moving parts! 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Fascinating!!! You lay a very nice groundwork and direction for everyone while allowing their individual creativity to shine! Thanks for Sharing!

I giggled so much at the "No Afrikaans accents" bit as I imagined a Knight in one of my shopping malls, fully clad in armour, barking orders at everyone. 😂😂😂 I thought that I was the only one who planned things so meticulously. Excellent work, and thank you for the sneak peak into your mind, dearest Jim. 🌿🌿🌿🌹🌹🌹🌿🌿🌿

This is, like, the clearest, most organized direction I can imagine. It seems like it’d be easy for anyone to “just f-ing do it” when provided with this level of detail! Fantastic.

This is very awesome of you to share this with us. Love seeing things like this.

So delightfully well organised. I haven't even watched the video yet but now I want to even more.

This is a cool behind the scenes look. You definitely outlined what you wanted while giving people a chance to be creative. Aren't those the best directors?

And this is why your work is so brilliant. Thank you for sharing.

🤔 I think I'm gonna put "just f.. do it" on all my work docs this week! See how that shakes down!

As someone who loves structure, this is a whole other level of ASMR! Like well-organized art supplies, or beautifully arranged notes, these visuals just rang all of my bells! Loved peeking behind the scenes to get a better idea of what these videos entail. AWESOME. ❤️

Woaauh! Well Jim I wish a lot of people were this hard to work with, like this, you're way too hard on yourself sometimes, this is properly organized, straight to the point directing, you're the creator not them, but still obviously it's good to communicate do their can be an understanding, it's so well done and I don't even know much about directing and this gave an idea on how it works, actually a really helpful document to anyone who wants to make video stories or a short (asmr) film. Thank you so much for sharing, it's quiet wonderful to get inside your mind. 😊💚 P. S. I don't like group chats that much either. 😅

Oooh, this is a deliciously detailed and organized document! Thank you for sharing, I love reading stuff like this!! 😄

That is a precious written work script, in your usual kind way. This guides, what your imagination looks like and leaves room for every creator, to bring theirselves into it. Also you were available for questions and changes. I would love, that some persons I work with, would be similar clear, though the subject is totally different, yours is heaven to get along with 😆

Thank you so much for sharing this with us, Jim! I feel like you gave way more details and directions than "just f**king do it" LOL It was well thought out. This is the level of info and instructions I wish I got from co-workers.

I haven't read it yet, but thanks for sharing!

Wow, I have to tell you, that's a lot of time and effort put into pursuing your passion but from my heart a great big thank you to all that you and your friends do, to what you do in general because I know its only for entertainment as your yt disclaimer says but you and your craft is so much more than that, it's helped me on many levels and from the comments you get on your vids you have touched a lot of people in sooo many ways, so again, thank you for all that you do, many blessings to you all! :D

I was already impressed with the quality work you and your colleagues put into your content, but this takes it to a whole new level of vast appreciation. With the amount of time and commitment necessary to perform this level of quality, I am so glad you are able to make YouTube your full-time job.
