I kinda expected Sarah being naked to be a thing after the scales balanced and she was returned to normal size and needing to scramble to get her clothes on. Ah well.

I picture there shall still be scrambling, at least briefly. Doubly so if "Some dungeons steal shoes" was foreshadowing her clothing going missing. :P Maybe she can make an apron out of her backpack + some of the blocks?

Do the rooms take into account the actions of previous rooms? If not, a few ounces too much hair.

Presumably, it set her weight at the moment of transformation to a specific amount. So any effects from before the transformation are ignored, but any afterward will ruin it.

This room is almost definitely a “try again” room. It’s a scale, they always take time to settle. Making it freak out at an unexpected item in the bagging area is just asking for trouble.

Well, by that logic, Nanase's transformation (which included her clothing) is also fair game. Maybe Sarah's just a tiny bit too heavy - say, the same weight as Nanase's outfit? Or perhaps the trick is that there's no need for blocks + nude Sarah, because Nanase is the exact right weight?

I'd have to agree with you on that one. If it was a "kaboom" situation, it would already have exploded when Nanase didn't reach the right weight with the block alone. Or it is made so it exploded only if it is overweight, but that sounds sketchy.

Of course, Nanase didn't burst out of her clothes when she became a ball, and their time as lizards didn't leave holes in the back of their pants, so it is possible that Sarah will suddenly be clad again when she returns to normal size.

I'm kind of expecting Sarah will grow as the scale evens out and will make the scale uneven again by being to big shrinking nanase
