Hearing about Vegas's fall made me so sad. Going in a couple months and it's the best place to take lots of edibles and enter a dream. Caeser's Rome, the Wynn pool, Carbone at Aria, etc. Letting yourself go at a good slot machine that tries to give you a seizure with its lights and sounds, hitting a small jackpot here and there as you chain smoke and prostitues in clingy dresses try to get your attention. Speaking of G-d love in post-Soviet context-- is there an episode where y'all talk about solzhenitsyn at length? His respect for traditional religion is maybe the heart of his anti-Stalinism... but maybe also his (tentative?) antisemetism? Whoopi's problem is that she thinks white and black and whoever are each homogenous groups, trans-historically. It wasn't true in Europe in the 1930s or in the US today. Race, despite Anna's "it's who you are related to" take is a social construct, as Dasha said. You don't need races to have racism, it's really quite the opposite. You have to create them. Goldberg is free to say whatever dumbshit she wants.
