Dasha has never sounded more brain damaged than she did in discussing Neil Young.

Hines is a back-stabbing bitch. If I truly fucked up (or did something my wife didn't like), she'd have the decency to not say anything to other ppl/trash talk me and then, in private, give me a new asshole.

What do Dasha and Anna think of Madonna’s rendition of “don’t cry for me Argentina” because it seems relevant to this episode

The Armenian genocide, Leopold’s genocide in the Congo, the Khmer Rouge, the rape of Nanking, etc etc all of these atrocities are seldom covered in US history classes

Anyone notice the Left was more upset about Maus being removed from TN curriculum than a synagogue being taken hostage for 11+ hours?

Manny di Presso

This ep damaged my already damaged brain

Amazing

Anonymous

The same guy came up to me in soho lol

Anonymous

"You ban them--" "Because they're LIES" Literally the hardest I've laughed this year. Easy joke but it was the sincerity in Anna's voice and the writerly, UN General Assembly-length of the sentence she was trying to finish, coupled with Dasha's delivery, that made me lose it

Anonymous

they should take edibles b4 every episode

Anonymous

Who writes down on a piece of paper "Some Jews weren't even *in* the camps" and then takes this piece of paper over to another person's house lmao

"A People's History of the United States" by Howard Zinn. Approach with caution

Anonymous

Such a great point about some born here in America misunderstanding and misusing the word Nazi. We’ve been so beaten down with it over the years referring to any conservative that sadly the average dolt doesn’t get it.

‘Come and See’ coming soon to a 4th grade classroom near you!

Can the ladies get Kim Iversen as a guest ? She's by far one of the smartest independent journalists rn and a rising star

Anonymous

Anna a day later I am moved to say I’m so sorry for the loss of your family members—that really hit me. It’s one thing to know about “millions,” it’s quite another when it’s someone we know and care about.

In a 1985 interview with Melody Maker, musician Neil Young said of AIDS and gay men, “It is scary. You go to a supermarket and you see a faggot behind the fuckin’ cash register, you don’t want him to handle your potatoes.” And yes, I checked it since it seemed to be to perfect as to be made up for the occasion. Even so, I’d extend him the benefit of the doubt considering the time period and how homophobic and virology ignorant the 80’s still was, I imagine he’s no longer making stumbles like this and would hope he’s changed course if not flat out apologized for that. The funny thing is his current supporters would never see Joe Rogan in anything but the worst light and will likely even find a way to rationalize Neil simultaneously as this story propagates

I've was subbed to the Chapo Patreon for four years and unsnubbed today due to their attack on the Ottawa trucker protest. Will is a rich NY chump who's never worked a hard day in his life and his smug condescension is becoming intolerable.

As a German, hearing Americans talk about the holocaust is kind of … dissociating. Awful awful takes.

emf 303

So only people who live in Germany can talk about the holocaust? Despite the fact that almost nobody currently living in Germany was alive during that time? So I guess that means you aren't allowed to share your opinion about the Iraq or Afghanistan war because you dont live there. You're not allowed to share your opinion about any tragedy that happens in any country outside of Germany. What an incredibly narrow minded way to view the world. I actually feel sorry for you.

Anonymous

Where exactly did I say only Germans were allowed to comment about it? :D feel personally attacked much, huh?

Anonymous

let comedians and social commentators say what they want ! these ladies are funny as fuck. history shouldn’t be forbidden to talk and even laugh about
