Heya peeps, Scriptor here with the latest dev news bulletin!

Game development

I’ve been writing and implementing the farmhand escape sequence as well as the hucow fail-state, almost being done with these: The escape sequence itself is completely coded and written into the game and I’m about 3/4ths done with the hucow bad end. Only needing to code in the last bit of the milky peril after the con and not-so-con routes converge, together with writing (and coding in) the con route of the fail-state. Also need to find some fun cow SFXs to go along with all the action (can’t have such a fail-state without those. Development pace has been darn good in the last few days so I’ve got no doubt I can finish up the rest of the hucow fail-state by tomorrow evening. 💪


Friday I’m planning to finalize the woodlands area (putting in the misc. things like puzzles, goodies, fluff events and patrolling farmhands), so that starting next week I can focus on the rubber pixie and her area/events. 💯


And that’s all for this dev update! Bit of a short this time around; but that’s mainly because my mind’s a word salad at the moment because of all the writing in the past days. Hats off to all (professional) writers out there, at moment like these I wonder how you peeps don’t just keel over after writing an entire chapter within a day… 👀🙌


Okay that’s enough complainin’ from my shiny ass; time for today’s teasers!

Teasers

First off a teaser of the farmhand escape sequence, now fully implemented into the game! Seems like Kathleen’s about to slip the rope binding her, though that will hardly be the end of her troubles… Seeing as she’ll still need to get that collar off her neck. Luckily there’s plenty of tools around, though it might be wise not to pick everything up whilly nilly… Some things are (!)dangerous(!) after all! 👀

Next up a teaser of the not-so-con route on the hucow fail-state, with Kathleen doing her best to struggle out of her bonds… Though she’s not getting very far. Heck even the cow next to her is wondering what she’s exactly trying to accomplish with all that pulling. :0

And finally a teaser which exemplifies the old saying; grabbing a cow by the horns! (Yes I know it’s technically “grabbing a bull by the horns”, but I’ve double checked and cows also have horns so take that HA) >:3
