Team training begins and Wakiya gets some character development. Nice! I'm hype for these National team matches and single matches, though!

Like I said, Wakiya is one of those characters that really grows on you. To be honest, these are two of my favorite episodes. They really show why he acts the way he does. How even though he’s a jerk, that doesn’t mean he’s a bad person. He simply doesn’t know how to communicate. It’s almost like him training with people is his way of showing that he cares. That’s one of the biggest reasons I like him. He’s not one dimensional. He struggles with communication, and he’s often a jerk, but if you look at what he says, it’s almost like he’s saying “I know you can do better than this, so stop half-assing it!”

100%. He's communicates through tough love, and I bet that's because his father does it to him... whenever he does get time with him.
