Fat Tails (Patreon)

Lots has been happening behind the scenes, and funny enough that includes art. My own tail has a tendency to get tugged in lots of directions but any day I can sit down and draw is a good day as far as I'm concerned. Luckily I have some pictures to share, the first of which is a sketch of an arctic fox who doesn't show up nearly often enough.

So, Anastasia is a statistician by training though back when I was drawing her a lot I tried out different character backgrounds so see what fit. I happened to be taking a few stats classes at the time and needed the motivation of a muse skilled in the art of mathematically teasing out the invisible forces running our world. Okay, maybe it's not that romantic, but I think it's encouraging to imagine there's a nerdy arctic vixen looking over my shoulder whenever I have to play statistician. And when I came across this particular book (and yes, it's real) I knew just who to pass it off to.
