So now we meet the Daedalus and its crew. You are correct that Novak is Hiccup Girl from SG-1 previous season. When they showed the Diagram of Daedalus at the end of SG-1, it hadn't actually be designed yet, so they used one based on the Prometheus instead. It does not match the Daedalus at all. When you hear Hermiod muttering to himself in Asguard, that's just English played backwards and can easily be restored. What he says is "When will these humans learn that there are consequences to actions?" This is new. Previous instances of Asguard speaking their language was gibberish and not reversed English at all. I know that you liked Ford, but a lot of people, including the actor who played him, didn't feel that there was much to the character and that he wasn't very interesting, leading to what happened to him this episode.

Damn it, something occurred to me to say but I didn't break out of the reaction to come over and write it right then and now it's completely forgotten . There's a lesson there.

He was speaking Asgard at some time during the episode ....A little easter egg courtesy of the audio department... It's English but reversed ...When asked to disable the beaming protocol he mutters something in Asgard... Reverse it and it's "When will these humans learn that there are consequences to their actions?" 4. So Ford is alive but he's turned into some sort of human/wraith hybrid... And he's got some anger issues ...Fun times 5. While the shot of the Daedalus landing on Atlantis is cool as FUCK. ....Something about it has always bothered me ....They're saying the Daedalus is landing on the east pier ....But the shot has it landing in what definitely looks like water ....Considering Atlantis is floating on an ocean... And taking into account if you know the layout of the city (which I do) ....The Daedalus is landing in the ocean IN-BETWEEN. piers ...As in.. In a part that's JUST. ocean ....It would sink to the bottom cause that ship for damn sure won't be able to float ....They should've done better with having it look like it was actually landing ON. Atlantis and not right next to it ...Make the ship look smaller compared to the city too cause it looks too big making the city seem small in comparison 6. Y'know .....I FEEL. like the cloaking device that allows a Puddle Jumper to become invisible WOULDN'T work on an Ancient City-Ship .....To me that sounds like trynna hook up a phone to a PC and then have the PC run ARK Ascended in epic settings by using the phone's specifications.... What I'm trynna say is ....It would NOT. be compatible ....I think a city ship would need a MUCH. bigger more complicated version of the cloaking device ...Capable of actually cloaking something as GHUGE as a city .....And no... I don't think a ZPM would make any difference ...But hey ...TV Show gotta TV Show I guess 7. Teeeeeechnically The Wraith should KNOW. that Atlantis exploding is a bluff... With the shield up the city is OBVIOUSLY being powered by a ZPM .....What happens when a ZPM explodes Froots???? ....BIG. bang! ...As in... Taking out half the solar system kinda BIG. ...Since that didn't happen... Obviously the city is still intact ....Also no debris from the city anywhere?? BIG. tell that it was all just a bluff... But ok 8. Aaaaaand there he goes... Ford has gone rogue ...Will we get him back? ...Find out next time on Dragonball Z! 9. As for Daniel not being here... Looks like the dude has his hands full with a new threat ...He's going up against a bunch of bad guys who are as close to actual gods as you can get ...Poor dude.. Never catches a break
