Oh god whenever there’s an episode about the other members of team flash, like Cecile, Allegra, Chester or mark it always be terrible

Yeah, this' the quality dip I was afraid of after the last two amazing episodes. And no surprise, it's cause the focus is away from Barry and instead on the side characters without cool speedforce powers. There's some cool stuff, like I personally really enjoy how Mark being controlled by the blue crystal is pretty obvious once you watch the episode back, everything he does is in favor of the crystal. Overall, while I'm not the biggest fan of his character, the actor for Mark is really damn good and is always very entertaining to watch. Also Khione literally turning Mark to dust and and then remaking him from scratch to save him from the crystal is pretty fucking rad, I can't lie. Also also Iris is about to give birth to Nora, everything's moving so fast, omg and poor Barry is getting flung across time like a god damn boomerang. Overall this episode is a noticeable step down from the last two. Personally I would've liked for it to explore more about what's happening with Eddie, cause things move really fast in episode 12 when it comes to him turning bad, but it's definitely not all bad, imo. Now onto episode 12, which is more fun again, imo.

I actually liked this episode. It was nice that they werent just focusing on one character but the whole team so it didnt feel as boring as an allegra or a cecile episode. The previous 2 episodes were definitely way way better, being some of the best episodes in the series. I just didnt find this episode boring, it was nice seeing so much progress with the main plot like Iris being in labor and seeing everything with eddie.

Blue roses again. Also, the negative speed force for some reason was blue lightning and there was a blue crystal found by Joe that caused his possession by the Neg Speed Force. The reason for the picture of the dog on wall, it was a wall of heroes. The sign said “Officers killed in line of duty”. The dog must have been a police dog that died on the job. Cobalt Blue…that explains all the blue. I wouldn’t say that Eddie death was for nothing. Thawne was about to kill Barry, at the least it stopped him from doing that. I didn’t hate the episode. It kept my attention, a lot of interesting things happened. Overall, I liked it. Nothing in it was (IMO) bad.

Btw, about the whole thing with Khione not being able to remove the Cobalt isotope: What this probably refers to is that Cobalt isotopes, contrary to something like Plutonium or certain fire suppressants, are not synthetic. Khione probably has the ability to cleanse the human body of synthetic materials but nothing naturally occurring. As an easier example, she could theoretically remove all the microplastic from a human but she couldn't remove a splinter.

Not synthetic, but "unnatural." That would included synthetic stuff, but Bloodwork's corrupted blood was organic, not synthetic, although it was unnatural, and she could remove that.

To add to the thing about the dog, I don't know how it's handled in Australia, but in the US, a police dog is considered a full police officer, the same as a human. That includes rank, being covered by laws about assault on a police officer, getting a full funeral with police escort, and yes, being featured on memorial walls.

I mean they got rid of Allegra early on, Chester was a generic tech guy, and Mark came back so this episode wasn't too bad. Cecile was still there though.

It makes sense for them to show us what happened while Barry was gone, so I wasn't upset about that. With that being said, if you're not going to have Barry, you have to have interesting characters to care about. The only person I truly cared about in this episode other than Barry was Iris. Cecile, Mark, Chester, and Allegra have not elevated from B and C character writing and development. Khione, I honestly don't care about. The writers are so focused on powering her up and giving her time. So much time could've been saved had the writers just kept Caitlin and had her deal with her grief from the past 9 seasons, bringing her journey full circle.
