My opinion on whether you break up the last 4 episodes depends on whether you plan to do a comment reading after the end. If you don't plan to and the last week's episodes won't be read, then maybe getting to talk about parts 1 & 2 of the last arc would be cool. But if you do plan to do a comment reading after, then doing all 4 in one week would be good I think.

I think, overall this was a solid episode. Roy G. Bivolo returning was really cool, if maybe a tad underused. And finally, after 4 years, we see Jenna West again. It's incredible how this show went 4 whole seasons without showing as Jenna even once. Javicia was pretty good as Red Death for the most part. I just really don't vibe with the way over-the-top acting she does on occasion and I'd wager that's more due to poor direction, cause in other scenes she does unhinged really well without coming off as cartoony. For example I really love the scene where Iris says Red Death needs her alive and Ryan just immediately goes "but not undamaged" and immediately starts to torture Iris. That's the kind of evil unhinged I really enjoy. But then there are the scenes where she's frankly just throwing tantrums and I honestly don't know what the director and writers were going for. Like it completely clashes with the rest of the character's portrayal. I do like them bringing in the concept of a cosmic treadmill, which Barry famously required to safely time travel in the comics. I honestly really like Chillblaine in this arc. He acts in ways that make sense for his character. He wants to bring Frost back but he isn't just being bad for the heck of it. He still protects Barry's identity, brings him something to drink and in the end chooses to save Barry and distract the Rogues to help Barry and the others escape. And even tho some dislike the character, everyone's gotta admit that Jon Cor is a really good actor. Also fun fact: Whenever Chillblaine is wearing his supersuit in season 9, he's actually wearing the pants from the Arrow season 8 suit. Jon Cor shared a bts pic while wearing Chillblaine's outfit and you could see clear as day, the slightly green tinted pants of Stephen Amell's Green Arrow suit. Idk why the costume designers gave him those pants but I think it's funny.

I swear, the Chester/Allegra stuff in this story arc is just there to get the episodes to 42 minutes. They are literally just going in circles at this point.

Fun fact, Jenna is actually XS in the comics, not Nora

XS in the comics is Jenni, not Jenna. Jenni Ognats, to be precise, so the names are probably just a coincidence. XS and Impulse are also Barry's grandchildren in the comics and are cousins rather than siblings, although most people probably already know that.

I swear I left this comment on the first episode of the season, but Patreon appears to have eaten it somehow. I haven't seen anyone else mention this, but Khione is named after the Greek goddess of snow, which makes sense.

Jenni, Jenna. Not really much of a difference. Natalie from S&L is clearly Natasha Irons from the comics even though their names are slightly different

When they didn't know if they would get picked up for a 9th season, Jesse L. Martin signed up to do a pilot for another show (where he will be the lead) and it got picked up. He agreed to do a few episodes for this season to give Joe an exit. For every episode this season, he has been credited as Special Guest Star.
