To answer your question, I'm not doing well myself. I've been trying to buy a house for a year, but everything in my area is overpriced & on top of it people are paying well over the asking price so I'm constantly outbid. On top of due to golden handcuffs I'm stuck in a job I hate that's treated me badly. Your reactions have brought a little bit of joy into my life to counter that negativity. That's probably not much, but I hope knowing that you bring some joy helps counter the bad mental state you are in yourself On a side note as a fun fact, the hallways of The Daniel Jackson with the glass walls when Sam & Teal'c are fighting replicators was actual a set built for Blade Trinity. The movie finished shooting shortly before they started shooting SG-1 Season 8. The sets were going to be torn down & destroyed, but Brad Wright liked the look of those hallways so bought them from new Line for cheaper price then building their own Asgard ship hallways from scratch.

Daniel

Presumably, a few months have passed since the end of season 7 and the start of season 8. Both Sam and Daniel would have seen Teal'c's hair grow and made comments about it during that time which is why they don't talk about it at the beginning of season 8. Having Jack be the one to bring it up seems to make the most sense and feels more natural.
