The 1st guy was Robert Wuhl who played a reporter in the 1989 Batman movie starring Michael Keaton.

David Brown

He was a reporter working with Kim Basinger's Vicky Vale, his character's name was Alexander Knox. The Titans cameo was stock footage from Season 2 treated with a red filter and a flash of light to give the appearance of the anti-matter wave. Please start reacting to Season 3 as soon as you can. The character of Ryan Choi (played in this crossover by Kevin from Supernatural) was in The Snyder Cut. He was a scientist working for Cyborg's dad. - "You're looking at the hottest thing on Earth. Exact words I said to my prom date. She dumped me anyway."

When Lena did the whole "don't mistake this for friendship" to Alex I halfway expected her to say "THIS DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING HOSS" like Rene kept randomly repeating in Arrow's S6. It doesn't feel like she would be this petty, especially since they're working on something important. Then she just throws in "hey btw I still hate you lol". I don't think it fits her character.

Also yes, Oliver's death didn't seem as emotional as it could have (or should have tbh) been. I wonder why that is....

The music in this episode was soooo good. Also I really like the scene with Oliver and the Monitor. They showed how Oliver is capable do to something against someone like the Monitor even without powers

Yeah that was Knox from 1989 Tim Burton Batman. At least you recognized Burt Ward from the old Batman show. I think the death was mainly meant to set the stakes, because you would never see it coming, but a lot of reactors at the time were also confused.

Jon Dub

I was so done with Lena and her entitlement by this point that I not only expected it, I was actually sure she would come up with some BS comment, so I wasnt surprised in the least

Steven Davison

Yeah they said at the time that they knew they couldn't surprise anyone that Oliver was dying because they'd already said it was happening, but they knew they could surprise people with when he died. Nobody would expect him to die in the first ep etc

I don't know if you managed to see the entire newspaper you tried to read but it said "Batman Captures Joker" And yeah you have been preparing more than you know for this crisis, it's fun when stuff like Titans showsup so lucky you havebeen watching that :) Altough it was fun that you maybe were a bit afraid of titans spoilers:) Which brings me too (except for Lost) has there ever been any time when a show has spoiled another show you were reacting to?

Imagine if Adam West were still alive, he could've been alongside Burt in that cameo

and yes it's nice to see some legends again after not seeing them for so long :)

I liked the episode. The only thing that bugs me to no end. Is the stupidest f'n retcon that Legends in season 1, in episode Star City 2046, didn't just travel thru time, but somehow traveled to Earth-16. That doesn't make any sense. Waverider's capability to travel between earths were never mentioned. And if they somehow did it by accident.....how the fuck did they return to Earth-1 by accident in the next episode......stupid.....and why even say that in the episode......only to bug my apparently) But the ep was good. I actually liked how they swerved me with Ollie's death in the first episode. His last words were "I love you Mia, you keep me in your heart, ok?". It's actully a lot easier to let the emotions get to you, 'cause you know what's happening and you are not shocked by the events. I'm not crying, you're crying!!!

In my opinion I don't like how they handle Oliver's death. For one Oliver was killed off screen. I think it's kind of disrespectful to his character. But I think the only reason it annoys me, is because it wasn't like he was fighting the Anti-Monitor. Oliver was fighting acolytes, which are one-hit-kills. I mean Oliver has faced worse Acolytes like the Mirakura soldiers. Really didn't care much for the 2046 storyline. I found it pointless and really not needed. The only thing it did was pull two of our best fighter (Sara & Brainy) from the fight. I really loved Melissa Benoist's acting in this one, I think she did really well. All in all, I think this was a good first episode into the Crisis.

I loved the music a lot this first part its really damn good and talk about setting a tone while I was also in disbelief at the time and it felt so rushed to me I still liked it
