In regard to your response to my comment last week, yes I understand that she felt like she needed to give Hook the Dark One power to save him. Why it doesn't make sense, you're right. It is more of a writing and character standpoint. Also though, if she gave it to someone that she knew would not abuse it and was willing, they could have saved him also.

1. Yeah DunBroch sounded very Brave-ish.. That or Arthur had a stroke 2. Probably cause of the leg.. But Brave's dad has got that dookie walk 3. Moana came out in 2016 while Season 6 was airing.. So who knows? She might show up at some point.. Can we have Dwayne The Rock Johnson too? Cause that'd be frikkin cool as FUCK. 4. Same.. The whole Viking setting or whatever this is.. It's kinda dragging on too much.. And it hasn't even been shown THAT much.. I just don't care for old timey settings.. It's why I never really got into Game Of Thrones until they aired 6.5 seasons already and my friend came over to watch it with me while I was going through a depression.. We watched it cause he mentioned it had dragons and white walkers.. If it hadn't been for that I wouldn't be interested.. And so this Brave setting reminds me kinda of that 5. Ooooooh.. Yeah you're right... She was on Legacies.. She played the tree nymph that turned into a tree by the end of the episode ...Also... Awkward.. The actress isn't a natural red head 6. Merida is being a dumbass... Some witch showed up looking for 10000 gold.. And here she is giving Mulan all her gold.. Bish.. You should be looking for more gold not giving it away! ...I might have missed a time jump though 7. Yup definitely new footage.. Snow's face all of a sudden looks completely different 8. (You thought they needed a tracker early on in the episode and figured Ruby would be a good one.. And then she showed up later) Dingus.. At a certain point you're just gonna have to admit you can see the future.. Just.. Get it over with.. Get a crystal ball and some cards and shit and start charging people 9. Doesn't this helmet let you control entire armies? How come Dookie Dad doesn't just control the enemies army as well? 10. Yeah Zelena and Arthur coulda noped out there with the helmet real quick.. Kinda stupid she didn't teleport it with her 11. Yeah I'm glad this wasn't a backdoor pilot... As I stated in 4. I woulda been meh about it.. Unless it'd have dragons and stuff.. Which given the verse coulda happened I guess.. And yeah I was kinda distracted too with other stuff because of this setting and how it dragged on

You can't lead through fear," said the girl who has spent all her time on this show swinging a sword and letting her emotions lead her along to the girl who won the loyalty of her enemies using improbable arrow tricks. Hell, all that bluster about being a smarter fighter, and Mulan was going to take on an all-powerful sorceress head on with a sword, not even a magic sword either, and it was Ruby who was the smart one by putting her to sleep instead. The show has done a decent job adapting a lot of characters and stories. But it's also missed the mark in regards to others. Merida here is a more recent example. But Mulan is another: humourless, irritable, prideful and self-righteous.

So Ruby tried to return to her pack? The same pack that hated humans, tried to kill her friend and probably hate her for killing their leader? Great decision.

So Merida's Dad paid for a magic helmet that cost more than his allies' and his own kingdoms combined and didn't even use it. He just threw it away instead of trying to return it, leaving his family and the other clans to deal with his outstanding debt. Great job, Fergus.

Curious that that they made Merida's story here all about her and her dad when the original movie was about her and her mum.

People say Brave is an underrated film? If anything, it's probably an overrated film. Best Animated Feature Oscar? Over ParaNorman and Wreck-It-Ralph? No... just, no.

When this episode aired, it was hated mostly because it was paired with 5x08 as a "2 hour event" by ABC. ABC hyped the event in the promo as a "must watch" episode mostly only showing clips of 5x08, but people were expecting a 2 hour episode like "Smash the Mirror" from S4

I was really happy to see Ruby/Red again in this episode, especially since I was a little bored. She’s aways been one of my favorite recurring characters on the show. Also, hearing her mention her boyfriend made me realize how alone she’s been for so long, and how much I would love to see her get a love interest, even if it’s only for one episode or something. For the longest time she’s been the only wolf around, and while she has friends in Storybrooke they’re always busy handling something important. I think it would be really great to see Ruby find her actual true love, ya know, someone who could be her other half like Snow and Charming. Side note about the sleeping powder: I figured you probably wouldn’t remember this, but the powder is made from the poppies in Oz (ya know, the ones that make them all fall asleep in the original Wizard of Oz movie) and in the episode where Zelena had used the sleeping powder on Ruby we learned that it doesn’t last very long, like only a few minutes, and it lasts for even less time when used on someone who has magic.
