Do you mean the vampire huntress thingy with the sword and the 7? lives ? This is the only one I could think of that has been reborn in the TVD verse My only Phoenix knowledge comes from Harry Potter :D In this show it appears to me that most "Monsters" have human forms. Like the Dragon ins Ep2 she was human too and now we have the human version of a Phoenix. Also this might not be the first time he has been reborn. Remember when he took the knife and the Dragonlady set bus on fire ? I definitely think I was killed there and just got reborn but because there was ash everywhere nobody noticed :)

This episode is when I really started to like Caleb. He had started to become a much better character a number of episodes ago, but this sealed it.

And I totally agree I would have liked to see how the vamps got turned and in this episode I think it would have been amazing to see MG's story . I'm so intrigued with it and would really like to see the story behind things but we saw it in TVD and TO eventually they tell the stories so maybe we will see their backstorys we are only 13 episodes in and with Stephan and Damon or the Originals it took us some time so see how they were turned I really like Hope's actions here, saving the one who killed her boyfriend

Phoenix Sword and Phoenix Stone that was wielded by Rayna Cruz in season 7 of TVD had nothing to do the the actual phoenix bird, it was just the name, probably because Rayna was reborning\rebirthing(is that a word?) after her death until she wasted all the Shaman's lives)))

I was thinking the same thing. I'm pretty sure her body even went up in flames with each "rebirth" like a phoenix does, but it was just a name, she wasn't an actual phoenix.

I LOVE this episode so much. And I agree about Kaleb, I wasn't sure about him at first, but by this episode I was totally in love with him. I remember one of the moments you really loved was when Tyler hit someone with his car and he was dying, and Liv killed the guy so his death wouldn't trigger Tyler's curse. I remember you saying that neither of them was your favorite character, but that you just loved that moment.

This is one of my favourites ! I love the moment when they reveal what creature Landon is 😍 After this episode I was finally hooked to this show ! I enjoyed the first few episodes but than there were a few that bored me a bit and I wasn't that into it anymore but after this episode I finally was again !
