Nathan Van Slyke

This episode is personally my favorite of the season. Glad you liked it

Chess Red Eagle

She reacted like that to the proposal because it was Candice's actual reaction. They did not tell her Barry would propose again after the song. Also, yeah tons of people in the CWverse are singers. Cisco has a band. Stein, West, and Merlin have done Broadway and even worked together. And of course Melissa, Grant, and Blaine were all on Glee.

Brendan O'Connor

This is also a reunion for Darren Criss and Carlos Valdez. They went to college together and both apart of StarKid Productions, that has made A Very Potter Musical and several other shows

Jon Dub

I love that Merlins character's son is called Tommy!

Walter Alcaraz

Now Shan knows why we had to keep what was coming all hush and a secret. It would have spoiled this mini-crossover.

Aes86

The 2 original songs ("I'm your superfriend" "Running home to you") were written by the people who did LaLa land.

Actually Jesse Martin, Victor Garber, John Barrowman, Carlos Valdes, Jeremy Jordan have all appeared on Broadway at one time or another as well. And like people stated before most of them have musical theatre backgrounds.

Angela Colon

Glad you liked it. I love seeing them sing together.

Wyatt

Oh thank god she liked it... I was so scared cuz I feel like it get a lot of hate for some reason

Wyatt

Also if you go back and listen to “Superfriends” there is something a lot of people miss on your first time through in the background music

Zach Hershman

Jeremy Jordan (Winn) was also on Smash. A show which I would love if we got a few episodes in the pilot tier. With how much Shan enjoys musicals I am positive she would love that show.

Zach Hershman

Both "Superfriends" and "Running Home to You" have versions of their theme songs as part of the background music.

Zach Hershman

It got hate from people who take comics too seriously and those that are against the Karamel ship (I hate typing ship names...). I didn't doubt that Shan would enjoy this episode because she likes musicals and she likes both relationships involved in the episode.

The La La Land guys did indeed write Running Home to You. Super Friend was written by Rachel Bloom of Crazy Ex Girlfriend and Tom Root, one of guys behind Robot Chicken.

Aes86

Thanks. It's been a while. I forgot about the crazy ex-gf connection on that one.

David Brown

Is anybody else having problems trying to view this? For me, it is only available to watch if I download it. When I did, it played for 2 seconds and froze. So I deleted it and tried again, same thing. All of the other shows' episodes she posted around the same time work perfectly fine.

Daywalker

Yeah, having trouble as well. Can other links be posted please?

Tony

The best way to view these things is by downloading them, Onehub isn't always as good when it comes to streaming. I downloaded it and it's not freezing like you said. I can't say for the whole episode cause I'm watching them in order. But perhaps try redownloading it and maybe changing media player?

Tony

The link is perfectly fine... Please try again

Jeremy Jordan AKA Winn is my Broadway obsession. I may have made some questionable decisions in order to see him perform live. I got to see him in Waitress and had a trip planned and paid for to see him in Little Shop of Horrors before the lockdowns started.

Jon Freezin-Rain

Actually was my first thought after seeing it . Considering his previous roles, NOT making a musical if you have access to John Barrowman is truly short sighted.... (all the others are great, I just knew his)

I'm not that big a fan of Victor Garber vocals either. I prefer Grant or Melissa

Jarrod Wild

I know I'm way behind on Shan's DC stuff, but Barry singing to Iris at the end reminds me of my cousin singing to his bride at their wedding. I was best man so I didn't have the best view sadly.

ManyBlessings

I forgot both of them were on Glee lmao
