I felt like cas death was so stupid. Standing in front of the portal after stabbing Lucifer with a knife you know isn’t going to work. Wtf did he expect to happen. This season sucked so much and this death and how it was done left a sour taste in my mouth that has never gone away through the next three seasons. It was the jump the shark moment for me.

Loved The Reaction, It's Like The Writers Knew They Fucked Up The Season 12 And Decided To Piss Off The Rest Of The Fans Who Weren't Fed Up With The British Men Of Letters By Killing Three Main Characters In One Episode.

I have mixed feelings about this season. I think on paper the concept of a rival men of letters team that believe themselves to be superior because they are seemingly more efficient sounds good, the execution however is kind of a mess. First off they repeatedly refer to themselves as British Men of letters which is, in my opinion, kind of stupid. One time they said men of letters British chapter and that makes sense but other wise it seems to be phrased as if the American chapter would have come first and the British chapter was an expansion which lets be honest the men of letters concept totally comes of super British, kind of how I feel the Watchers council would have been British at first as well. Also they imply that hunters for them are out there getting dirty but the men of letters are stay in and read the books, but then I feel they sort of contradict that or in the very least get it very muddy. The ending with Crowley and Castiel however was both beautiful and sad. At the end of the day for a show that had a 5 season plan that is now (as of this episode specific) on it's 12th going into 13th season you're gonna have your ups and downs, they can't all be winners. P.S. Sorry for the novel I just wrote here.

So the actor that plays Crowley, Marck Sheppard said that he was unhappy with his character... I forget the exact details of why, maybe something to do with it always the same. But he was unhappy with how the writers treated his character. And his death scene, Mark did not like the final cut they made of it as they edited out a line or two that Mark was really fond of. All in all he was unhappy with what the writers were doing and did...but he was very professional about it but said he would not be back on the show!
