Both this and the finale had issues and were completely out of sync, voice and video of the episode with my reaction, it's been as fixed as it can get so apologies if anything seems out of sync.

I did not notice a single moment of sync trouble... so I think you did a great job at fixing it. I was not actually watching for sync issues, but I think I am above average when it comes to being observant. lol. I am now going to watch Not Fade Away... but it makes me sad to watch it.

I agree. I always felt the end of this was rushed and kind of a mess. I liked them tying all the random demons from throughout the season as part of the black thorn, BUT, I wish we'd had more on the black thorn sprinkled throughout. This whole thing just kind of comes out of nowhere to me lol

I didn't notice much of a sync issue, except for the Crash Bandicoot line, you got it too fast. If you didn't say anything, I would just thought you were really smart! Lost chance lol

I haven’t even watched the episode yet, just the introduction. I just wanted to say that I just joined Patreon so that I could get these final Angel reactions early. And I want to thank you for doing these shows. I can’t get enough of watching people react to Buffy and Angel. I know that you are sad to be finishing (I believe that there are 254 episode combined of the two shows) but one thing to keep in mind is that both shows are really great rewatches and there seems to be new people reacting to it all the time. The fandom is very much still alive despite it being off the air for so many years. I’d love to see you react to the Buffy movie as well if you haven’t seen that yet. But anyways congrats on making it to the end.

My favorite part of this episode has always been the reveal that Cordelia gave Angel one last vision. I think it's a really wonderful way to make Cordelia an integral part of the final story without her actually being there.

Crash Bandicoot did come out on the Gamecube and the Xbox in 2002, the fourth one that is, The Wrath of Cortex, and I think that is the cover for it that they briefly showed next to Spike's Xbox. 2002 also saw the Gamecube exclusives for Resident Evil 0 and the remake of the original, and the exclusive Resident Evil 4 in 2005. Ah, those were the years, how nostalgic.

You are right. They were not expecting to be cancelled. It was like a mid-season decision, so Joss and Co. had to rewrite a lot of stuff for the end of the season. That included rushing storylines, introducing concepts without proper back story, wrapping up things not neatly.... a lot of things like that. But I still think they did a good job with these last two episodes, considering what they had to work with. Also, I think Drogon and Illyria playing Crash Bandicoot will always be one of my favorite scenes from Angel...period. :D
