So if fantasy is the dollhouse's business but not the purpose, is the purpose greater benefits and uploads to the investors?

Allan Cornett

To answer would be a spoiler. I’ve seen the show several times.

I love the subplot with Topher turning Sierra into a friend for the day, but how sad is it that the only way he could spend his birthday hanging out and goofing off with a friend was to invent one?

Really neat filler episode though. I thought the scene where Echo (or Margaret as Julia) was talking to the son that at some point he was going to hit on her. 😱 I mean, why doesn't that come as a surprise seeing how Echo is really pretty and young and having the mother's imprint, it's likely that her son will not see her that way but rather, the doll herself. 🙄 It's one of the most twisted examples of imprinting an Active in this situation. I guess Adele (and Margaret) didn't see that one coming lol I really enjoyed the Topher plot where he used Sierra to be his best friend (it's like he created a female version of himself in her imprint) and it was neat to see in the end that it was his birthday and he had to use an Active to make it all worthwhile. It was really sweet and sad at the same time. I like that Adele was watching them this whole time considering how in the last episode she also used an Active (Victor) to fulfill her own needs (I wonder if she's made it a secret to her staff or if she's also making herself an example).

one of my favorite episodes. the premise of using the dolls to come back to life was an interesting one, topher's subplot definitely humanized him and made him more endearing, and i love a good mystery/whodunit storyline.
