I don't understand this concern at all. There's no way in you know where that Shan is going to watch Angel 5x1 before finishing with Angel S4 and Buffy S7. So I just don't get the preemptive concern.

I remember my reaction when I first saw Jasmine's monster face, my brain noped on out of there and I was like "Ahhhh, what the hell is that thing, get it off my screen!!!" And this is coming from someone who's a total splatter/gore hound.

Great reaction. So the evil that was control Cordy was Zoe, so she had sex with her father to gave birth to herself. If thats right, then gross.

Please rant about this season when you review it, the fact that Joss did this to Charisma and Cordelia just because she had an unexpected pregnancy is disgusting.

I remember when I first saw this episode was shortly after I had bought the album Fallen By Evanescence. Now every time I listen to “everybody’s fool” I think of Fred singing about jasmine

The only thing Joss changed because Charisma got pregnant was made her get pregnant in the show. This arc was planned before season 3 started. I also find it funny that people try to defend Charisma here when she should have told them sooner. She waited so long they had to scramble to change the final third of the season to accommodate her. I will agree there were other things that didn't need to go down the way they did, but we can't really speak on it yet.

Yes ASR, that is the same actress that plays Leslie Dean on Marvels Runaways. Nice that you noticed, and now that comment I made on the pilot ep of Runaways is more clear regarding all the actors on that making a guest appearance on Angel. Lol

This season is just all over the place. One of the many issues I have with it is its one too many villains. First the Beast, then Evil Cordy, Angelus for a brief stint, and now Jasmine. Bleh

I remember this episode so well all because of that "rotting flesh" true face of Jasmine. 🤢 Good thing I remembered ever scene that it was about to come up after re-watching this 'cause I made sure to cover the screen every time!! ugh

I mean the actress who plays Cordy is mixed race and so is Jasmine so it could happen. I think you were way too focus on race but that's just my opinion.
