Rebekah's character was really tainted for me with her choice to summon Mikael.

This was my favorite episode out of all of TVD/TO. It helps to keep in context that during the flashbacks, Klaus still had his secret that he had killed their mother. They were such complex characters. They loved each other "always and forever", but they each had their one worst secret.

Fly on the Wall

Rebekah gave Klaus a thousand years. You talk about abusers, but Klaus was her abuser. You can't really tell her she needed to give Klaus time when he's shown time and time again to be a controlling tormentor. Two of her brothers were still in boxes at that point and even though Klaus finally decided to let them be happy, what about Kol and Finn? Klaus has his ups and downs, but do Elijah and Rebekah have to always put up with the centuries of downs waiting for a few moments when he has one of his rare ups?
