Gherin is a scientist who thinks he’s discovered the ultimate in transportation… teleportation! But what will happen when he tests it…

Experimental Restraints

Gherin looked around at the various wires and machines that were placed carefully around his lab. All of them served a specific purpose, all of them had been carefully calibrated, and now they were going to be put to use. The red and blue flashing lights from the computers and equipment were all as they should be, all ready for the first phase of his experiment.

Gherin was going to teleport.

He’d been planning this for years, with many close calls and difficult moments. He’d had to deal with disappearing lab mice, strange noises at night, and electrical malfunctions. He’d had to manage the funding and space and turn everyone away for fear they might discover the secret of the technology he was developing. His lab at the university was carefully cleaned, calibrated and set up by himself and was off limits to all other staff while he was working. Tenure had some benefits.

But now, at long last, he was ready to take the first step.

He typed in the necessary parameters into the computer that was hooked up to the large tube he would be standing in before he began. Each one of his calculations indicated he should end up on the other side of the room. He wasn’t taking any risks by going any further, there would be time to show that off once he knew everything worked. Smaller scale experiments had been mixed, but that was nothing to be concerned about now. Science waited for no rabbit, he had to take this step himself.

He tucked his ears in slightly as he stepped into the tube and closed the door. Three minutes from now the machine would send him hurtling through space. He didn’t know how it would feel, but everything he’d researched suggested it would, at least, be painless. Nerves were frayed from short nights of sleep, the time going by increasingly slowly as the countdown clock finally reached the five second countdown.

5. 4. 3. 2. 1

Gherin felt his body suddenly lurch as though he’d gone down a rollercoaster, his hands instinctively going out as if to catch him from a fall. Everything went black for a brief moment, a buzzing blanked out all other sounds in his ears and his fur stood on end.

And then, as quickly as the feeling began, it all stopped. His eyes adjusted to the bright lights of the lab once again, the beeping and whirring of machinery returned and his muscles relaxed. Briefly taking everything in again, Gherin could only feel one thing welling up inside him.

Disappointment. He was still inside the tube.

Breathing out slowly, the hare pulled the container open and let himself out. Nothing looked any different, even the machines were whirring away as if he’d never even pressed the button to start the countdown. He sighed, looking back towards his lab door and trying not to get too panicked about what this could mean for his research.

A coffee would help his brain get back in gear, he told himself. Perhaps he was just tired and had made a simple error in the data. He’d have to have another look once he felt more with it and up for another attempt.

As soon as he left the lounge, however, something felt off. The corridor was dimly lit, its smell substantially different from when he’d entered this morning. It was like someone had been in to clean but left something out to dry near a heater.

When he got to the cafeteria, he felt his face immediately drop in shock. Rather than the simple, tidy place with a few tables and chairs that it had once been, the entire place was now decked out with all manner of bizarre seating. Formally simple wooden furniture had been replaced by almost macabre spiral metal designs that didn’t seem to allow for any sort of comfortable position. The tables themselves were also a deep black where once they had been simple pine, their corners having an addition that Gherin immediately recognised as cuff restraints.

“What the hell?”

As his muttering left his mouth, two people entered the room. Gherin gasped in shock as he saw them, their appearance startling to the hare.

The first, a male stallion, was dressed in a skintight black catsuit, their body entirely covered by the thin material that did nothing to hide any of their private areas. Their face had extra coverings around the eyes, as though the horse had been put to work as a slave or some kind of transport servant.

The second had him on a leash. She was a cat, her eyes focussed on the stallion as she pulled fiercely at the leather strap. Her outfit matched the color of the stallions but that was it, otherwise it allowed plenty of skin to be on show and gave Gherin an excellent view of her breasts.

These weren’t scientists… These were some kind of… kinksters!

“You stupid little pony, did you think you could just go into the lab without my permission!” The cat's question was just as loud as the slap that hit the stallion's rear.

“Please Miss! I didn’t mean to…” Gherin saw his eyes widen as they spotted the hare “What… who are you?!”

The hare suddenly felt fear rise up in his chest. He was still in the laboratory at his university, but something was clearly very wrong.

“I… I work here! I’m a sci…”

The cat slapped the stallion again, forcing him onto all fours “Shut up, I’ll ask the little boy what he thinks he’s doing!”

“Sorry Miss!”

Gherin stuttered and moved back towards his lab “I… I’ll just go back to wor…”

“Stay right where you are!” the cat stamped her foot into the ground “How dare you talk to me like that!”

“Like… what?” Gherin’s confusion seemed to make the cat angrier.

“You’re even stupider than this little bitch” she pulled on the leash again “Fine, guess I’ll have two inmates today”

“Inmates?!” The hare picked up his pace, trying to get away as the cat pounced towards him. She didn’t miss a step, slamming into the hare at speed and pushing him on his back.

“Good thing I kept a spare straitjacket in my bag today. Can’t believe how lax this place has gotten…”

Gherin’s eyes widened as the white cotton garment was pulled out of her handbag and presented in front of him. His arms were pinned to his side, his body unable to move an inch under the carefully positioned body of the cat above him.

“Pl… please! I’ll do anything to…”

The cat pulled out and shoved a large rubber bulb into his mouth. It inflated as she rotated the front, the hare totally caught off guard by the sudden intrusion, his muzzle unable to get any purchase as drool started moving down the side of his mouth.

“What a dirty little rabbit. Keep that in and stay quiet”

Gherin wanted to cry out but nothing would come past the strange device she was using. What did he do? Did he just let her do this? Could he do anything about it? His mind raced, trying to work out what could get him out of this situation.

“Arms in and set”

The woman forced the belts of the jacket around his midsection and pulled his arms to his chest, strapping it tight as she made sure each of the slips of brown leather were securely keeping them to his chest. With each passing second Gherin was losing any opportunity to escape. The cat just shook her head as she lifted herself off of him, flipping him onto his front before he could even get a single movement from his feet to push himself away.

“Stay still and I might keep this rear of yours clear of bruises”

Gherin froze, his brain recognising the threat as real and trying desperately not to think about the possible result. As he felt more belts tightening around his back, his mind wandered to what could’ve got him here. The teleportation must have gone horribly wrong…

“Good. Let’s get you on your feet”

Gherin felt himself being pulled up by the straps on the back of the straitjacket, every ounce of strength vanishing as he allowed himself to be dragged towards the stallion that had been degraded by his master not moments before.

“Miss, is he coming with us to the cells?”

She nodded “Yes, my little pet, he is. We’ll work out what to do with him after that”

Gherin felt tears come to his eyes. He was totally at the whims of this strange woman, her strength unnatural and her entire demeanor one of complete control. He felt subservient simply being in her presence, unable to complain behind the mouthpiece forced into his muzzle and unable to do anything other than be led outside and across the campus to another building.

All the way there, his thoughts turned back to the experiment. Had he entered another parallel dimension? Had he gone forward or backward in time? The former certainly made more sense than the latter… if you discounted the absurdity of the idea to begin with. He couldn’t move between different dimensions like that… surely?

The reception area of what had once been the biology labs was entirely changed. Gherin knew little of the inner workings of this building but he knew it didn’t look like a prison. There was a large cow behind a pane of bulletproof plastic with a microphone, waiting for the cat to arrive at her desk with a sly smile appearing as she saw them approaching.

“Caught another one today huh Mary?”

The cat chuckled “Yeah, this one was snooping around the old physics labs. Not sure who their master is…”

The cow shrugged “Not my job to know, they normally just pick them up when they need them. Put him in the fifth holding cell on the right as you go through the door, you know the one.”

“Thanks Bea, how’s Mark?”

She guffawed “The bull? Tied up at home with a feeding tube and a milker. You know how much his semen sells for right?”

“More than he’ll ever see” Mary chuckled “See ya round, I’ll get these two sorted”

Gherin winced as he was dragged through to another corridor. There were steel doors all the way down, moaning and grunting behind each one that they passed.

“Get in, shut up and wait”

Mary opened one of the large doors and shoved Gherin inside, his face hitting a padded floor as he tried to turn round onto his back.

“MMppppH!”

“Quiet, someone will get you a feeding tube in a while and we’ll sort you out” the cat shut the door, loudly announcing to the whole corridor that a new inmate had been locked in “Goodbye bunny, make sure to behave”

Gherin could only squirm inside the straitjacket and look around the room. It was bright white from top to bottom, a small metal bed to one side and a toilet next to it. How he was expected to use the latter in his current state he had no idea. Maybe he had to be helped…

Panic was starting to set in as the blur of the last hour or so started to settle into the hare’s mind. He was stuck, strapped into a straitjacket and completely unable to get out of the predicament he was in. He had no way back to his lab, and by the sounds of it he would have no way to explain himself to his captors.

It was then, just as his brain began to send fight or flight endorphins through his body, that the room started to wobble in front of him. The walls curved and warped, Gherin blinking to make sure his vision wasn’t playing tricks on him. He still couldn’t move inside the confines of the jacket but the room itself was now seemingly dragging him towards the back of it. He hit the wall and felt it shift around him, the padded pillowy surface strangely comforting as he watched his world start to morph in front of him again.

The metal door started to brown and contort as it started to turn into an oak door, large metal hinges keeping it attached to the walls that were themselves starting to change. Wallpaper started to replace the padded cell, the pillowed sides seemingly deflating and discoloring to a more neutral blue.

As the floor began to do the same, Gherin desperately tried to move, his eyes wide with fear. But as the white floors turned to colorful carpet, he began to feel the restraints of the jacket begin to loosen. His arms released and the device around his muzzle dropped to the floor, itself starting to change form in front of him. The strap that had pulled it round his face vanished, the bulb decreasing in size as it deflated and moved back into the shield. The color changed from white to a pale blue, two small holes appearing on either side of the central plastic stem

“A paci… pacifier?” Gherin stuttered out loud as he started to pull himself across the room. The bed, the small sides that had straps attached pulled up towards the ceiling and gained a set of bars that raised high above his head.

It was a crib.

The toilet curled up around itself and the porcelain turned to plastic. The hole in the bowl moved to the top as the cistern closed on top of it, making it look like a large plastic bin.

The hare could feel his mouth moving up and down in shock as it adjusted both to the new environment and the sudden release. The noises from outside had changed from moans to an almost quiet chatter, mixed with another noise that Gherin identified as he pulled himself to his feet.

Crying. Not desperate screams, but almost childish demands for attention.

“Oh dear”

The door opened up again, as Mary’s voice greeted the hares ears. Instinctively he recoiled, hiding next to the bed as fear set in of what was to come.

“What happened baby? Are you ok?”

Gherin’s muzzle couldn’t form words in response. Those questions were the exact opposite of his expectations.

“I… I…”

“Oh goodness what happened to your diaper?” Mary crouched down and started to remove the hares pants “How did you get these undies? Goodness me!”

“Diaper?!” Fight or flight kicked in again and Gherin pushed her hands away and scooted to the back of the room “What… what’s going on?!”

Mary ignored him and opened a drawer at the end of the crib, pulling free a huge disposable diaper covered in babyish designs.

“Stay still sweetie, Miss Mary is going to get you properly protected!”

“No!” Gherin found himself pushed against the back wall, trying to move away from the suddenly motherly cat “I… I’m an adult!”

“Oh dear, what’s happened?! That’s such a silly thing to say!” Mary moved quickly to grab his legs and pull him close “You’re not an adult at all! You’re just a little bunny who needs a Mommy!”

Before Gherin could respond he found his legs lifted into the air and the diaper pushed underneath them. It was thicker than some pillows he’d rested on, his bottom pushed off the floor and his legs firmly spread apart.

“Now, stop being a squirmy little bun and let Miss Mary get your diaper on!”

The cat gave Gherin no quarter, her hands moving swiftly and keeping the bunny from making any sudden movements that would upset the position of the two large tapes that came over and attached to his waistband.

“Stop! Please, I’m not…”

Mary shoved the pacifier back into Gherin’s mouth and put her finger over the top “No more talking, you’re clearly having a very funny day. Don’t worry baby, I’m sure once you’ve had a nap you’ll feel much better!”

With strength Gherin could barely believe, Mary hauled him up and placed him into the crib, his legs barely able to move thanks to the thickness of the padding. He couldn’t bring himself to spit out the pacifier, instead sucking on it instinctively for comfort as he looked towards his captor.

At least this was better than the straitjacket. The small silver lining crossed his mind as music started to fill the room, his head becoming foggy as Mary started to slowly rub his now uncovered tummy.

“Shush baby. Just go to sleep. Stop worrying about silly adult things.”

Gherin squirmed in place trying to push his way free, spitting out the pacifier in one final show of defiance “No! I want to get out! Please, just let me go!”

“Baby” Mary’s voice took on a stern tone “You had your playtime earlier, you need to get your beauty sleep!”

“I’m not going to…”

With a sudden jolt, Gherin felt like he was being hurled up into the air. The room vanished from in front of him, a ringing in his ears replaced the crying from the corridors and the voice of the cat that had been babying him so insistently.

He was back in his lab, staring at the ceiling and thoroughly confused.

“What…”

“Mr Gherin, I’ve got some reports from the other lab to… OH MY GOD!”

The hare looked up. The cat, the woman who had been a terror to him for the last couple of hours, was staring dead at him in a lab coat and suit.

“Go away! Get away from me!”

“Why… Why are you in a diaper?!”

The hare looked down and his mouth dropped. Sure enough, it was all he was dressed in, the thick printed padding that, prior to his sudden reemergence he’d been forced into.

As the cat disappeared out the door, her face as red as Gherin’s, he could only imagine what he was going to have to write in his reports this evening…
